Laura Elzey yea, it's actually not bad like in the video. I never adjusted the settings on my camera and the lighting was also bad, so it picked up the color darker than it is and changed the tone a bit.
Alina Rosete you should definitely do it!:) I want to change my hair for years and I finally grew the guts to do it, and it actually made me more confident! I think we all need a change once in a while... so if you really want to do it I say go for it!:)

I asked to get this done at a boujie salon and my hair was super black like yours, she said it was hard to get all the black out and I just ended up with brown highlights. Still paid $230. I got scammed
This video was extremely helpful for me because I have dark dark brown hair but not black if that makes since and I'm getting a Balayage in my hair next week and I wanted to see how it might turn out. I have a picture of what I'm getting so I would see how it looks but I never knew the process so this before was good 😊

heavythinker16 yes he did, I'm not sure what it was called though.... I use a purple shampoo by biosilk (from Marshall's 7.99 for a small bottle), and it leaves my hair looking beautiful!:)

Before anyone comments about what a "bad job" this is, I made this video nearly three years ago. I showed the final results at golden hour. My hair didnt not look as reddish as it did in the video, it was actually more of a caramel brown. If you dont like it, simply give this video a thumbs down and move on.
It looks to prettyyyy but my parents especially my mum would never let me dye my hair. At school some of the girls have their hair ombre when they don't even need it and you can't even see it because their hair is already blonde but they still ombre blonde!!!!!! K it seemed like I barely even breathed in that paragraph lmao.

Strxssful_Plvnt OMG girl I feel you!! growing up I was not allowed to cut or dye my hair. when I turned nineteen I used box dye on hair ....it didn't do much, but then at 20 I put blue dye and it showed a little, but my hair still looked black... now that I'm 22 I decided it was time for a change because my hair was black and boring. Like I looked so plain and I hated how I looked, but changing my hair color was the best thing ever! my confidence grew so much!:)
Strxssful_Plvnt you should try talking to your mom and let her know how changing your hair color is going to make you feel better ...and I say choose a natural color for now :) also, if your hair is not damaged, color treating it won't do much damage either :)

DeziredOne mine was naturally black, I would highly recommend you to visit a professional. black hair is hard to work with specially if you have a lot of hair.

cleopatra Elgindy It actually did not!:) I was scared it would, but I have no breakage and only minimal fall out. just try to avoid using heat on your hair for a while before you get it done :) if you want I can send you a picture of how my hair looks? the video changed the color and made it look somewhat redish and I keep getting hate for it, but its actually lighter in person.
I honestly dont remember as it's been around 2-3 years, but mine was lighter in real life than what it shows in the video. Just use purple shampoo, put it on your dry hair for 30 min before showering and it helps take the brashness out.
