This is probably one of the heaviest bands I have ever listened to. The way that doom metal and deathcore are combined, those amazingly deep growls, the slow but intensely heavy breakdowns, this is, in the words of Gary Barlow, absolutely fantastic

I'm a fan of older death and doom metal and it's great to see kids continuing and elaborating on genres I grew up on. good shit glad I checked this out, younger kid at work recommended.

I can't believe comments like 'vocals are weak', 'needs more riffing', 'this crushes Infant Annihilator'. I'm a fan of fast melodic metal bands with riffage and blast beats but I'm the first one who admires how good the vocalist is and how raw and brutal his vocals sound. This is one of the HEAVIEST tracks I've ever heard even though I don't give a fuck about downtempo/hate/modern/metal. You have to know what are you listening to and post comments with some criteria without comparing bands that don't have any resemblance like IA and Black Tongue.

I wonder what band members think when they read the comments expecting some feedback/opinions from fans but all they see is people trying to sound smart arguing about the genre lol

I have been listening to infant annihilator for years, just discovered black tongue this week and I have to say I’m incredibly grateful I did.

Haven't been this excited to see a band with this much euphoric brutality in a few years. Every cord is long overdue to this arsenal of awsomosity.

This has been my go to song recently for heavy deadlifts and squats.

A lot of people do not fucking understand that music is not all about complex riffs or notes, it's all about the atmosphere it generates. Its structure is perfect. I didn't see anyone mentioning about the Dark Ambient beyond the riffs. If the song would have complex riffs would ruin the dark atmosphere they intended to create. And the guitars, drums, bass, vocals flow perfect with it. A great mix of darkness and brutality in my opinion.

I fucking love tech-death and this is menacing as fuck. Shit doesn't always have to be all techy and flashy for it to sounds badass.

Music is meant to be enjoyed and listened to. Not analyzed and judged on technicality. I love technical music just as much as I love downtempo music because they have their own sound that appeals to me. If you like it, cool;if you don't, stfu and carry on your day.

These guys are definitely the next biggest thing having created their own genre from an amalgam of flavors of Metal. It is not for everyone. But as a DeathMetal drummer, I think they are genius.
