Black Tourmaline Crystal Meaning • Protect Your Energy 

I would say this is a pretty popular stone right?! I would love to start a conversation here on any experiences you have had with black tourmaline, why do you love it, etc.. :D

I just got mine today!! Before I got it I was out in public and I had the worst anxiety with so many energies of people around. After I got it I felt SO at peace! I knew the crystal was levitating towards me since last week and this week, I kept seeing the stone pop up all over my social media feeds. When I walked into the crystal shop my energy was called toward the corner of the shop so I walked over and there was the black tourmaline! Instantly, I knew it was meant to be! I felt so connected and protected already. As I was still searching for more crystals my mom said she would wait for me in the car as I finished searching for my crystals and something told me to take my time, so I did. When I got outside my mom said omg we just got hit by a car! I said what! Where? And it was on the side that I sit on. Instantly I thought, wow! There was a reason for me taking my time inside the store, I knew the crystal was protecting me already! Thank the Most High!

I have a black, tourmaline, palm stone. It’s carved out into the shape of an apple. I call it the apple of positivity. I use it to let go of self restriction, to let go of unrealistic expectations that I set on myself, to forgive myself when making mistakes, and many more. I also use it as a hand fidget. I don’t throw it up and down or anything. I just play with it in my hands by rubbing it and feeling all over it.

I got a black tourmaline necklace for my birthday and I wear it everytime I go out in public now 💕

This is the crystal that made me a believer, I bought my first piece a week before last months full moon and it put it outside overnight in the snow ( in Canada here)... the next day while reading I held it and it literally throbbed in my hand. I thought I was nuts, took a 5 min break, then placed it in my other hand, same thing! Kind of freaked me out a little, but it was a larger piece so I went out and bought some smaller ones and I'm just loving them all. Always carry one now in my pocket at work, or driving in my car.

Black Tourmaline is like an addiction. I definitely can't be without it. You are right. All the energy depletion we have experienced over the past 4 years took its toll. The feeling is real after working with this beautiful crystal. The cleansing of the aura, the release of tension, & the protective forces all around my being from negative sources is amazing! Appreciate the vid. I've bought beaded bracelets in the past in hopes they would help but it's only the last few months I've started trying to learn about the stones/crystals. Finally got a selenite slab and tourmaline crystals (haven't programmed them yet) to help with my bracelets and chakra necklace. But wow. Yes! That tingling sensation is exactly what I feel! And an instant relief from anxiety. I was really skeptical about crystals, but open. I was walking through a metaphysical shop, just observing and picking up crystals, and when I picked this up I had an intense reaction to it in my hands which is exactly what you describe and what other people describe in the comments. Wow. I think I may be a believer now!

One of the things I've learned is that it clears all your chakras of negativity, especially the crown and third eye which tend to be more receptive to negativity

I bought some black termoline and placed it on my 3rd eye and I noticed something negative move away from me. Like I felt whole for the 1st time. Like 💯 % felt like myself. Oneness. I love it... Hey Courtney!!! I love black tourmaline!! I have noticed that when I’m down or overwhelmed, I get this big urge to grab the tourmaline and when I do hold it, i feel so much better!! I’m still experimenting with how I feel with different crystals but I have to agree that black tourmaline is amazing! I’ll have to try switching it from hand to hand after handling electronics for extended periods of time. ✨

Great video! I just received a mining bag for my birthday & it had a nice palm sized chunk of black tourmaline. I put it in a cord necklace today and I’m thrilled that it fits, looks great & offers such amazing gifts of protection. I haven’t held it in my left palm during meditation yet but recently, while meditating with malachite - I felt my palm vibrating. Then I put it on my heart - same thing - I experienced physical vibrations. I’ve placed a selenite wand and other crystals on my stomach and I’ve felt gas bubbles under my skin. It seems to me that the more you work with crystals, the more you’re able to tune in physically to their vibration. Hello! 2020 has been so hard for me and for sure for most of the people because of the pandemic. Ive been pretty depressed, sad, and demotivated. I think one of the reason is that, from giving advices and cheering up my depressed friends. I felt like me making them feel better made me absorb their bad energy and its hard for me to get rid of it or get over it. Ive been reading about Black Tourmaline for protection for bad energy and also, it makes the negative energy become positive energy since this stone cleanses. I also want this to protect myself from curses of people thats probably jealous of me. I also want to give it to my mom and sister for their work. I also read about deep red Carnelian, it restores vitality and motivation, and stimulates creativity. And this stone also links with me being a Virgo. I have this gut feeling that its going to be a good combination, but im new to this so im asking those who are professional when it comes to minerals so that i dont make a combination that counter each other. I got into Crystals big time more than 10 years ago, but the past few years I have drifted away from using them ( arrogance on my behalf). The past 2 days I had picked up an attachment ( through my pendulum I know who and where I got it from), and have been getting entities a lot recently too, no matter how many times I clear them and practice visual protection. I felt something around me last night, I knew straight away as I got REALLY angry for no reason and started cursing God and all that is wrong in the world. I realised what was happening and picked up a small piece of BT that was on the table near me and put it in my pocket. In 10 minutes or even less I felt totally calm and peaceful, more so than I have done for days or even weeks not just like before that attack or whatever it was. My first crystal was black tourmaline. I touched it and it felt like a strong circuit. I carry it everywhere. I bought a cut tumbled black tourmaline. It didn’t feel right in my hand and it was heavy. I quit carrying it and left it in my truck after selenite cleansing. After a while in the truck I went to move it and it was lighter. Don’t know why. hi maam, I recently started wearing black obsidian and keep tourmaline on my desk. but today before attending the critical ofc meeting. I held tourmaline in my hand for few seconds and prayed that meeting will be absolutely fine I will be respected. but in the meeting, I had to listen to my boss about the work which I didn't do and due to the technical issue, I could not reply to my boss at that time.
