As I laid dying in a pool of my blood and a burning feeling in my stomach, I thought it was the end. My last chance to get my old job, my old glory, back; all blown away with the pull of a trigger. For a second, I almost didn't even try as I knew that this was supposed to be where my story ended..." *Click...* "That is, until I made a last ditch effort and pressed the button on my old hopper... I found myself having nightmares, when I landed unconscious in the middle of nowhere. Some of older missions past, one of a former companion turned monster, and finally, one where I was at the whims of an art obsessed killer. Next thing I knew, I woke up and found myself outside of an old mine with a cowboy on a dark horse to greet me. The gaping hole in my stomach had vanished somehow and my clothes had been restored to their shining light after staying dirty for so long." *Our hero recorded his thoughts in an old tape recorder he kept for scenarios such as this. All the while armed with enough old west guns to fight an entire army. He pulls out one such weapon as he continues recording...* "The man on the horse told me his name was Jack and that he was looking for a cursed mask as well as a golden disc to give to some rich man. Meanwhile, I heard tales of a Native Warrior called White Eagle who was also looking for the artifacts...to return it to it's rightful place. Essentially, I had found myself in a wild west story between two sides who had their own reasons...which frankly, all I saw was an opportunity." *He says the last sentence whilst loading his Colt Peacemaker, clearly gearing up for a fight. As he loads the revolver, he briefly ponders whether gaining back the glory he had lost was really worth it...* "If I can find those artifacts, that might be my key home and with it, a chance to get my job back. If I can help these people, than that's a bonus right there. There's no glory to be found here, my goal right now is simple: Survival..." *He shuts the recorder off, loaded a lever-action rifle, and went outside... Our hero would find his home, even if it meant more death and bloodshed. If he ever did return home, hell was coming with him to the man who had robbed him of his old job. He lost his first chance to the horrors of HappyFunland, but maybe, he'll find his next chance on the Black Trail...*
