insanely nostalgic, made me cry a little bit. as i’ve gotten older i’ve drifted from bvb, but i remember crying to savior when i was 13 years old, as cheesy and cliche as it sounds that song saved me many times. i felt so alone, helpless, but i could always ground myself with savior (or carolyn). i wouldn’t be who i am without that song, crying my eyes out when andy broke his ribs, all the old crack complications, making edits, fanpages, all of it. i wish 13 year old me could listen to this, and see me now. the lyrics to this song remind me of how i’ve felt toward this band forever, ive enjoyed growing up with you guys🥺

I relate to this so heavily, every bit of it. I used to fall asleep listening to their stuff and watching their interviews with BryanStars, it was the pick-me-up that I needed at that time. And this is a perfect call back to that time.

This. Everything about this I relate to. I remember being 16 just crying alone in my room to Savior playing in my headphones. How alone I felt and this band always felt like family to me. Like someone out there was listening to things i never said. I'm 26 now and though life isn't perfect, I'm still here, have a beautiful 3 year old son to live for and I honestly didn't think i would have made it here

Black Veil Brides were the reason I became a musician in the first place. Their music got me through some of the hardest times of my life. Saviour II is a love letter to all of us. I went to the Denver show at the Oriental Theater the other night and I truly felt connected with everyone in the room. I love these guys, and I love all of you. Over a decade later and we're all still together and all stronger than we were before! Rock on into the eternal night; BVB army forever!🖤

@prajna Of course Andy's voice is amazing, and the lyrics are wonderful and touching. But the composition of the music itself is what grabbed me. You can truly feel the emotion in every note. This is a song that could be stripped down to even just a single instrument and still be hauntingly beautiful. Jinxx is an incredibly talented composer and musician., and this song illustrates that. It's raw emotion, exposed and vulnerable.

I'm 40 now, and have realized that it's easier to focus my energy on helping others in need. I'm going to medical assistant school and hoping to keep going to become a nurse. This song makes me think of a girl in high school. She was beautiful, witty, and kind to everyone she met. Not one soul could say a negative thing about her. I went to a catholic high school, and in a place full of hypocrites, she really made me want to step up and be a light. I know several people have different beliefs, but I feel like God put her in my life to see what could be done. I hope she is doing well and all of you listening/watching. Like i told them in person while not trying to cry in front of them…if it wasn’t for them as a band and their music I would have been dead. Because i was so depressed and no one noticed me. To hear Andy to say these words “never give up. Keep on listening to our music and we are always with you. I was a preteen when I first listened to the original Savior song and, though I haven't listened to your music in a long time, this brings back memories of a time when my life was so chaotic, with everything feeling so hopeless that life didn't feel like it was worth living. People made fun of me for liking this kind of music, but it gave me back the hope I had lost and made me who I am today. I had no plans to live past the age of 16, I'm 24 now, about to be 25 - I made it, thanks to you and so many other bands like you. Thank you for giving me my life back, you'll never know how much it means to still be here.

I remember being 12 years old listening to bvb feeling alone and hopeless because i was always bullied at every school i went too. Yet their music always made me feel like someone was out there listening and understanding what i was going through, I’m now 22 and i still get chills when i hear a song by them, they truly saved my life MANY times… thank you black veil brides

I was a 12- or 13-year-old when I started listening to Black Veil Brides - I was a schoolgirl and had a classmate who isn't listening to their music, so I've had to stop because of him. Now I'm an 18-year-old who's addicted to Black Veil Brides. When I was younger I was always afraid to dive deeper into the emo scene because I was told I needed to find something “happier.” People don’t understand what this music means to so many of us. I’m just sorry I didn’t learn that earlier than a few years ago. BVB have quickly become a top band for me for the messages in their songs. This is healing my inner child/teen that only wanted to hear that it’s okay to not be able to always be happy. It’s the hug I never got. And it’s comforting to know there’s a whole community still out there that understands that same thing. Emo music wasn’t what people saw on the surface as “nonconformist.” It’s so so so much more. The words many of us couldn’t speak are in these songs. Love to BVB and love to all of those out there that are struggling and haven’t lost the fight yet. I see you and you’re worth so much more than you know.

There is a very interesting juxtaposition with the fact that this is BVB and they have orchestral instruments but at the same time there are very subtly christian sounding lyrics and having a band whose imagery normally wouldnt lead to that, in this beautiful church setting. All in all, I love everything about this and about BVB. Andy, CC, Jinxx, John and Lonny are all amazingly talented and have provided the army with so many uplifting moments and songs. I have loved to see the transformation of not only Andy and his vocal range, but the band as a whole over the years.

This song brought tears to my eyes but in a good way. So many memories over the years since they first started. So many times bonding with my son who is now a young man thru this music. The last 2 BVB shows we couldn't afford to do meet n greets or even go to the concert for the first time since 2012. Its been that rough and I know it has for many. I hope we make the next show! Even ten plus years after first finding BVB when I really needed someone who understand me; I still find myself running to their music when things get so bad I can't think of anything but running away and disappearing forever. When I think everyone would be better off without me, I come back to BVB and their music; and I remind myself who gave me the strength to carry on all this time. To keep pushing, to never give in and never give up. And while it doesn't take away everything I feel that hurts me, it reminds me that I can handle it. I can stand tall, live through it and know that BVB and their music is always there for me.

Bvb was probably my fav band 10 years ago (you can probably tell from my name which I never bothered to change). It was my gateway band and I followed them closely up until set the world on fire. Although I don't listen to them much anymore, this song takes me back. Solid track and very reminiscent of saviour 1.0. Great stuff.

Still after Years of listening to them, I still feel like a safe place when I listen to their music. Been Fighting with my depression, and ADHD for years and Times I don’t know How to stabilize myself, but their music makes me grounded of my own self and Know that Theirs are people who are Fighting their battles. I use to listen to black veil brides a lot… saviour helped me a lot as a teenager especially where I questioned the meaning of life or was it worth it to keep going. Today at 21 I am living the best life and next week I’m getting married to the love of my life. It’s crazy to think that songs can help you through the worst and now that this song came on it made me ball my eyes out because things always could have ended different.

Back as a child in church, I would always wonder if God was lonely. In a position like that, all that seems to matter is the wish granting and love given to others. As someone who had the rosary and took my strength from BVB as a child and up into my adulthood now, this song makes me feel both incredibly guilty and grateful to the band for staying as a guide, submerged in these dark feelings all these years, even as we the listeners grow in and out of or even entirely away from needing them to guide us. On the slim chance that I would one day stop listening to Black Veil Brides, the music and the message of strength they gave me will always be what helped define me as a person. But what's been done is already enough, if the court jesters need to lay down their burden.

When this song makes you cry harder than the first Saviour- especially "now that I know I am more than my scars" you have no idea how insecure they make me feel. Or how hard it hits when I see them and remember the way I felt. I feel almost guilty.. but I'm slowly accepting that I am more than just that, I have to learn to accept my past before I can move into my future. I actually wanted to get "Saviour" engraved into my class ring because that's the only thing that got me this far in life. I don't believe I would be here tonight without that song. Thank you guys, really. Because of the work you do, I lived to see so many miracles that I wouldn't have witnessed if I hadn't heard your song three years ago.... You guys always have a place in my heart.

When I was a teen, I was in severe depression. Music was my only out. I constantly listened to their music. It saved me. Even when I was in a domestic violent relationship, i only had that to listen to until i managed to get out of that relationship. Now I'm a proud mother of 2 little girls and I want them to understand that I'll be there for them no matter what and I love them very much. I'm gonna do whatever I can to their lives are way better than mine ever was.

It's crazy to think that this November will mark 10 years since I discovered and became a fan of BVB. Watching this and listening to the song felt so surreal, thinking about how much the band has grown and changed as well as how much I've grown and changed, and yet here we are ten years later, the guys are still making music, and I am still here listening like I'm 13 again. No matter how much my music taste shifts and molds over the years, I always come back to BVB. I may not be as active in the fandom or even know what's going on most of the time, but I always snag a ticket for every tour, and tune in when new music drops. Thanks for growing up with me
