What a good sounding engine ! Just curious,why does it sound kinda like an automatic trans, as he's backing the car out ? The original Black Widows track cars that Rex drove in NASCAR were manual transmission i believe. In any case,a cool build.
@@henrystefansson5140 Way way back i drove a non-BW '57 Chevy short tracker for a few years & the "hot setup" was to have two of the Borg Warner 3 speed tranny's,always run in 2nd. gear. One was 1:57 ratio (second gear) & the other might have been 1:61 possibly. My favorite of the two got an ear broke off in a crash,but i kept for years & somebody always wanting it even with ear broke off.
Love how they glorify that it has 283 horsepower like it’s supposed to be a high horsepower car Honda civics have that much horsepower stock now with a 2 liter engine the days of big ass underpowered fuel guzzling v8s are over except a good amount of drag racing but can’t argue that the smaller engines are amazing such as gtr Supra a good amount of civics etc all less than 4 liters and blow most all v8s away this car is cool but needs a lot more horsepower to go with it 283 is embarrassingly slow

Nice job. He really loved to hear the engine rev up! Most of been so many thoughts going through his head. Something about the feeling when you hit that gas pedal. That's one thing in life that will never get old. Pure feeling of power👍
