The movie was interesting but to make her first children out to be mentally deranged and psychotic was unnecessary and annoying asf especially when they just wanted their mothers love and attention
I didn’t like how they made her first 2 kids evil or that they killed the dad, but the ending was awesomely unexpected! The mom was an excellent villain.

@@valkyrie2307 jealous of what ? The movie is obviously about a woman who's suffering from self esteem issues. Also there's nothing wrong with marrying a white man just don't hate your blackness..
How should I rephrase it? In the movie she wanted to be more “white” or used her proximity to whiteness to get ahead. She has microagressions towards her own children when she thinks they’re acting too “black”. She hates her own hair. And then part about black people haunting her is a way to not spoil the entire plot of the movie in the title
