I was talking with my husband this weekend about his dating history and I discovered that he has never once dated a BW. Then he said that not one of his friends (he has a ton of friends he sees nearly weekly since college) have either. They are all successful and good men. He said a BW would never date them. I would have disagreed with that but he already knew the story of me gently prodding a young BW intern at my job to accept an offer of a group date and how she declined in favour of joining the event with a man who she had to pick up and whose ticket and food she had to pay for. So it would be great if this assumption can change. It will be good for everyone in the unfortunately named "dating market" . It's called "COMPETITION".
My dad has done 50-50 with me. The only thing i enjoyed about the trip was the Smokey Robinson concert. His current 3rd wife...i didn't know she existed or that my dad was dating anyone until he announced his engagement. If you're avoiding the eldest daughter...you know you shouldn't be married. Those 2 are still..currently..doing things to disrespect my presence and position as daughter. There's 1 apology and many disrespectful episodes afterwards. The lady sold herself short. She's paying for my dad to go on trips with her. We live in Jacksonville. Southeast GA also has a naval base. There's alot of retired naval divorcees who can pay her way. They are nice men at the church looking for polite conversation. She's mid 40s. She's short and cute with glasses and a Halle Berry buzzcut. I honestly hope she files for divorce before she's 50. My dad isn't right and he's not going to get better. He gets worse every time he's married. He lived in hotels and had a bike for transportation for 8 years. Now he has an apartment, new car and goes on trips. Desperation. She can barter for more and she wasn't willing to wait on God. I haven't liked the last 15 years of the chore that our relationship has been. I didn't think another woman would sign up for this. If you don't have to be atound my dad...i suggest you don't. Sooner or later she'll get tired of paying. She's mid 40s and my dad is mid 60s.
