This is awesome, and Saturnus was not only great but Kim Larsen from Of the Wand and the Moon is on this. Crossover musicians always make the best music.
The only thing wrong with this or any BW is there isn't enough of the advanced scale of musical arrangement that excels in three different sub-sections of Doom; Epic-(Solitude Rising-Missing all exits) Funeral-(This track) and Horror-(Nidstong). Wish they could, or could have made more of this greatness..
This was blaring on my MP3 years ago...a prelude to years of swimming through ash and memory; a happiness forever dead, slow and excruciating in the blackest reaches of the temples of the mind
The grunting doesnt disturb, whereas I normally dont like it. The music is just too good for the grunting to ruin it. I´ve found my style, which I´ve been searching for all along. Doom metal.
