I still have my BB 8820. That BB keyboard is awesome. I still remember what a thrill it was to stream Pandora while driving on a BB connected to my car way back then.
WOW, still remember using 8820 for the 1st time years ago, and that device help me to build my own phone store..and amazingly still work like a charm ini 2017!
thank you soo much for this aswome vidio it helped me find alot about this and i was thinking about getting the curve i love it and i like the camera on it too that is y i whould get it prefferd to the other ones
I agree with everything Sascha said in this official PC Magazine review. I like this review and the way he did this, because he gave detailed, in-depth, but easy to follow reasons for everything he stated. I also agree that BlackBerry Curve is the way to go, especially the 8320 from T-Mobile. P.S.: To all those ignorant people making stupid comments about Sascha below, go to hell, and while your down there, get over yourself. This guy is doing his job and he's doing a darn good job of it.
now can you go to any web sight or video on the web like desktop? most mobile phones have mobile sights to go to, I want to go to my own.like could I look up any video on youtube
A lot of businesses don't allow phones with cameras on them, to prevent 'corporate espionage'. I think that's what the guy is referring to when he says that it's better for businessmen.
I have a Blackberry Pearl for Att and I wanted to get the 8820 because of WiFi, but does WiFi mean that if i GO TO cOFFEE bEAN i WILL GET FREE INTERNET???
hey on blackberry curve my friend did sumthing to my address book and now i cant see any of my contacts but it still has them saved sumwhere, how can i find them ?
Uhm... I have the UMA icon on my 8820! Yes the 2.5 inch jack is annoying, but whatever; I do the farfs, get the moneys and buy an adaptor! Wifi calling is basically pointless to me as I have an unlimited call plan for pretty damn cheap anyway. Don't know why this guy would say wifi is pointless, because I can use the internet without going through any of my provider's services. Finally, the point about the 8820 being designed for slow connections. That's what software patches are for, no?
because most corporate businesses dont allow for their workers to have cameras on their phones due to security reasons, such as taking pictures of "sensitive documents" lol
um r u color blind...? its black, blue and the best color silver..it looks pretty neat in silver. But the 8820 is a rly good phone. Its mainly for business ppl thats y it doesnt hav a camera, but it is an awesome phone.
Here's what the phone companies don't want you to know: With a Wifi connection, you don't need to get a data plan. (Unless it is important for you to roam) But for those at an office, or a University, you can have internet, email, mapquest, (google maps signed a contract with RIM making it so you CANT connect to google maps over the internet unless you have a DATA plan... those scheming assholes...), and even make WIFI phone calls. Get WIFI, and save yourself $200-$300/year.
