hi, what is the name of that weather app on the home screen? i have been racking my brain for ages wether to swap my torch 9800 for the bold 9780, still cant decide, miss the classic blackberry form....

Can the home page apps menu thing or the notifications be hidden?? This new one feels compacted compared to the other ones and i was wondering if it can be hidden. It looks alright though and also you can change the wallpaper rightt?? Please answer Thanks!!

What should i buy, BB 9780 or BB 9790 (cuz their both good but its just that the 9790 has separate buttons next to the trackpad, which is shifting me towards the 9780)

@yorgus0 hmm but the push email is not as instant as blackberry. The android push email client allows you to choose to get your phone to check your inbox for new emails every xx minutes, and if you tell it to check constantly then it will drain your data as it keeps refreshing. With blackberry the blackberry SERVER checks for you constantly and pushes new email to your phone whenever you get it. this prevents using alot of data but you still get the instant notification

when you test the browser @6:20 did you use Wifi connection or 3G ?

@rugarem9 If you want to go for texting, I'd suggest for a Blackberry because of their physical keyboards. To me, touch phones texting don't really work for me.

@EzraPink I have it and have for 3 months or so now! its a really good phone. I think so anyway and i use it mostly for internet and texting/bbm. Its really fast and easy to use. But buy a case for it! it dents easily and i dropped mine a few days back and because i had no case the LCD screen shattered. But its easily fixed :)

@rugarem9 what are you using your phone for? push email / text / strong reception / reliable / long lasting battery, pure work phone - go blackberry phone / text / games / internet / applications / widgets / touch screen / nice appearance, casual phone - go android based phones I know because I own both at the moment.

@MrLeatherface2783 Even though it may not be as good in many cases as the new android and iphones, the messaging and business use of this phone is better in my opinion. I would much rather do emailing and messaging with a blackberry than say an iPhone. However as you said, this phone is in many areas weaker than the touch screen phones, screen, processor, gpu, etc.
