im not knocking this, because im sure its absolutely delicious, but the title had me thinking you were gonna use the blackberries for a mash, which i guess would be a brandy. maybe blackberry flavored ethanol is more accurate.

I thought you was going to make a mash ...and distil moonshine made from blackberries ?....now that means I'm gonna have to show ya how to make blackberry poitin Irish moonshine ....which would really class it as a gin ,being a botanical ,rather than a fruit brandy or a whiskey !.... you tube here I come !

To all you naysayers. Moonshine is pure grain alcohol that is made in the backwoods and is illegal. It's the "illegal" part that makes it shine. This method is illegal in some states, simply by altering it and rejarring it. Looks like an interesting recipe to me.
