As an older guy, I thought Southern Rock was dead. I recently discovered this band, and it brought tears to my eyes and a new faith in humanity. They are so good.
Yeah, me too. Recently found a whole bunch of music that I'd call Southern Rock. I'm not a big fan of most modern Country Music. Just as boring as most pop music in any other genre. But I know what I like, and these guys, Dead South, Devil Makes Three and several other bands are hitting it for me as "southern rock" these days. And Dead South is freaking CANADIAN! Good is good no matter where it comes from!
Welcome aboard folks. I'm a relative newbie as I only found the 3 - 4 years ago. Now take the next step to pure addiction & see them in concert. Like sticking a needle in your arm.
so true about the smallness of family. thank God i found Jesus and he saved me and got me out of the horrible state i was. i tried to end my life twice and Jesus showed up and appeared to me and said no, i love you and you have a purpose
I am also a motorcyclist but in Monterrey, Mx. and the same thing happens to me,... Good routes, and ride safely my brother, a big hug from the city of the mountains !
Being a 24 year old from Indiana, life was just like this. Grew up laying carpet, doing interior work, now we moved down south, and I ain't been home in over 8 years. Love ya pops.
My father passed on October 21st 2021 but before he passed away he played this song every morning. If everybody could send him some love I'd appreciate it.
Agreed . i always loved country . i live in. Dark skinned gangster neighbourhood. But i play country loud and proud there's few other families that are like me the rest all listen to other music btw i dont Blair it out my windows like somenof these clowns completing to see who has the better system
This song will remain with me forever. Heard it for the first time when my Father was in his death bed and for some reason it will always be special to me since it reminds me of memories of Him. R.I.P Dad.
Learned about them from a Gulf Shores Al cop who was kind enough to give me a ride home. Called the station and gave him props for going above and beyond! Still thanking him today as BlackBerry continues to Amaze me!
Just saw them here in Copenhagen, Denmark. What a concert. They blew me away and next time they come by, I will be standing and feel blessed by these great lyrics and tunes once again. God bless 🇺🇸🇩🇰❤️
I saw them too at Amager Bio - fantastic as always..I love to get Smoked 😂 I drove 800 km down Germany to see them with Lynyrd Skynyd, whom I'm also crazy about..... It was a super epic concert..
This song hits different for the people that actually grew up and still live in one horse towns. 5th generation, raising the 6th while living in the 110 year old family homestead house in small town Wyoming. I'll always love this song ❤
Raised in a small town got a chance to move to a better place to another itty bitty town , and due to unfortunate circumstances came back to my little bitty town …💔
Just a question? Young guy like 25 😂 from europe had horses, ride westren style never catch cattle with horse . Would i be accepted for a week helping out on the ranch. best regards from Slovenia.
Remember listening to this song in my Grandmas basement with all the cousins, aunts and uncles at 12 years old. 1972. It’s now 2023 and I am 63. Grateful to be connected to this music.

The billboards on the Hwy out of my hometown were the bankers, orthodontists, attorneys, etc. They’d changed from the men that used to be on them to their sons that I went to school with. My dad’s business owner there; I could’ve been one of those billboards… 20 years ago I knew I had to go and make it on my own… for me. As my wife and kids were riding with me I played this song. It’s been a harder road than anybody on those billboards ever thought about, but I made it. I have achieved more now than I would’ve had I stayed. It was such a fitting moment for the song and my life.
God I love this sound speaks to my heart I grew up in small town Montana played with my wife as little kids and got together 20 some years later 46 years together she was needed more on the other side her work here was done I will see her again one day rip Kandi I love you always

I am half a soul. My soul broke when i lost my brother 💔 almost 3years now. Seems like im in a different world. I will never be whole again. I will never give up. ❤ I have lost all my loved ones. To my Dad who picked me and loved me, I feel your marine presence...thats what keeps me going. Music is a gift i cherish so deeply. This is so beautifully done. Thank you for spreading it. I wanted you to know what it meant to me. ❤

Blackberry Smoke, you will never know how much joy you have brought to our hearts. And to our ears! Finally a band whose lyrics pertain to our lives. Lloves 💓!
I never loved or cherished her or her song, particularly "Thank you" when it comes out. I heard it, listen to it. The strange and special thing is that a few days ago, i recall it, and suddenly the music video appears on my mind. I searched it on RU-vid and it became my favourite. I even found her drop dead gorgeous.
Greetings from Colombia ... I love American music, I have already managed to deduce this wonderful song by ear, now I will practice it singing. Great USA ... I am a Colombian who respects and loves North American values, history and culture from a distance.
It's true no matter how big or small the town. Trappings catch everyone. I live in Houston, and have followed my dad's footsteps. Wishing I could escape
Looks like this is a band is a big hit with in the Latin Americans. I thinks it's one of the best country rock ballads I'ce ever heard. I m a melody junkie. :)
A melodia, a letra, a harmonia, as vozes... tudo é perfeito nessa música. Dá vontade de sair dirigindo pelas aquelas estradas com passagens de montanhas kkkk. É muito bom isso. 😍
This Reminds Me Of Life As A Kid In Salinas California , 1959 - 1968 , My Dad Was Born In 1894 , I Was Fortunate Enough To Be Adopted By Him In 1959 Very Wholesome And Real Song , Thanks Guys , May God Bless You All , You Have Incredible Talent 🤙✌️🤠
This song has saved my marriage and life honestly. Moved to a one horse town because Inlaws wanted us close, had a 17 mth old and new born and the car I bought blew its engine. In laws didn't help when I had 2 under 2 and no car for over 8 months until hubby and I could afford a new engine in the one horse town they wanted us in. I got PN depression when I was stuck with 2 under 2 in the one horse town with no help from anyone becides my hubby. Still listen to this song regularly now, 3 yrs later because I love the sound and to remind me from where we were then to now Still in the one horse town 🤣 but have 2 cars that work now I love and appreciate this song because it helped me through the dark times and I can still love and appreciate it in our great times now.
When you get a great story/feeling song wonderfully written AND performed you have it all. I just love songs like this that you can play on one guitar and it still remains so evocative and powerful. We play it together in our one horse town garage here in the UK. Respect you guys J
Isn’t this so refreshing? A simple uncomplicated clean sound with poignant lyrics😍😍..and I’m a rock fan at heart but this gets turned up loud in the kitchen😂
