Great flights! You have really mastered this Viper Jet. I so much want to pick this one up but am hoping BH comes out with other colors. Any bad tendencies or issues to report so far? I know you replaced the gear with heavier-duty gear correct?
Thanks, Yes the model flies absolutely great, best jet so far. It has 2m wingspan, small wingloading, under 8kg at labding.. nice. @@SFPFPV it is linked in that topic I poated above... use google translate to english whole forum, it works great. ER-120 custom length. I have ER120 also on my composite JMB mb339 but dimenaions are different and this 2 year newer er120 has some improvements
I did that before you relied, thank you! I did not see they were custom though, I see JP offers retracts made specifically for the blackhorse Viper, I guess I should not get those and do custom length ones?@@TomislavReskovic
@@SFPFPV around page 10-12 is linked JP custom set, that one works. All JP120 retracts are same dimension and hole spacing, just struts(legs) and wheels are different . Black horse viperjet 2023 set is ok, all fits dimension-vise speaking, you just have to rework holes for 4 screws per retract that hold it in wing/fuselage. I advise filling it woth wood piece and epoxy and than even some fiberglass plate, like PCB one, 2-3mm thick that you cut to place over mounting saddle and then retract comes on it an gets screwed down. That PCB plate helps to distribute forces over larger area and prevents breaking of the wood due to new holes drilled, and JP. Holes are narrower, so closer to edge of wood and this pcb helps a lot.
