My method is similar to the Parley, but I continue by 1 unit at a time until a loss. 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150... etc., then after a loss, back to 25. Seems to capitalize on the winning streaks. I think the highest I got up to on the $25 base best was $300 (12 wins). If I play at a $50 table, I start at 50 and still typically only go up 25 at a time after that.
Oscar's Grind doesn't work as you said. If you lose you keep on betting the previous amount until you win and you keep on increasing of one unit after each win (or keeping the previous bet if losing) until you have one unit profit. If during the comeback you can decrease the bet to reach the one unit profit you decrease it. In my opinion is the best strategy. Someone will laugh but it works better on rng cause it shuffles after each hand so the odds are always the same. If you play with a 300 unit bankroll you are going to win in approximately the 99,5% of cases.
The martingale doesnt work in the long run because the one time that you ll lose , you ll lose a hell lot of money, while every time you win, you get your minimum bet
It's a slow and steady system. Mathematically speaking it makes money but the unfortunate reality is there is a major flaw in the fact that it requires a bottomless bankroll to cover losses and allow for wildly increasing bets and that you will eventually hit the table wager limit. Only surefire way to never lose is never play.
Not only that but if your starting bet is say $20 in no time you'll usually be above the table limit. Locally we have a Casino with minimum $10 and a table limit of $500. By using the Martindale System with a starting bet of $10 the seventh bet will be over the table limit ($640).
This guy totally lost his credibility when he said every betting stratrgy would be progressive in some way. Those are all losing strategies. The only betting strategy that works is to have perfect card counting skills coupled with a big enough bank roll to minimize your risk of ruin to 2% or less. A 1 - 6 unit bet spread per hand is optimal to achieve that 2% risk with 1000x the minimum bet.
