Is it difficult to beat the casino? YES. This vid totally ignores casino adjustments to minimize card counting advantages: table rules and multi-deck shoes.
You’re lying to these people, your not even bringing up risk of ruin, variations, running and true counts, what to bet at what counts. Your legit telling people a math problem without any numbers.
Blackjack is one of the most stressful games to play. Even if you know how to count perfectly, you are at the mercy of the casino's infinite bankroll and could piss away thousands on days when the dealer just can't lose.
Somewhat true. It’s never not difficult to beat the casino. They aren’t stupid, we are playing games,, they aren’t playing games, they are conducting serious business.
So much info on counting card on RU-vid and other sources, I think a casino will be prepared for the average man that watched a few RU-vid videos before hitting the tables
To have any sort of edge again the casino, you first have to play a perfect game. Know the basic strategy and when to deviate by heart and you will see returns in the long run. The house is betting that for every 1 player that knows basic strategy and plays a perfect game, 100 don't.
Even when playing perfectly it only gives you a very slight edge over the casino. You’re statistically going to win money if you can play perfectly long enough with a big enough bankroll. It’s still only like a 4% edge over the casino with perfect execution.
If by Casino you mean my friend or family member in a casual game of blackjack then you are absolutely correct in saying it isn’t difficult to beat the casino.
Please don’t do this. This isn’t how counting cards works. Yes, you do count the way he explained but there is a TON of mental math involved especially since casinos use 3-6 decks in a shue, please learn to correctly count cards before trying this.
Autoshufflers completely eliminate card counting. If a shoe is being used it matters how much of the shoe in play. Most casinos cut at around 70% which makes a count less reliable than if it's 80+%.
Just want to clarify what it seems everyone in the comments already knows, counting is extremely time consuming, expensive, and not that easy, it takes countless hours and dollars to expect wins, the average point for 84% of card counters to just break even is around 300 hours of play with perfect condition blackjack, this means good rules from the casino, and perfect counting, absolutely no where near a get rich quick scheme : )
I would suggest first starting with one deck at home. If you still lose don't go. Once you win at home just remember casino's use 6+ decks with random shuffling STILL DON'T GO!!!
It’s not as easy as u think and usually if u take lots of money for card counting the casino can take u out of the casino because it’s a private business
Bro you can’t tell people a small part of the strat and pass it off as “easy win”. People will lose a lot of money playing like this without further knowledge of this system
Now I'm not saying he isn't rich but I expected someone in a luxurious house, expensive clothes and lots of bling to tell me how to win at a casino. Hard sell is all 😂
It takes the normal AP around 4 to 6 months To learn how to count cards well enough to win any real money. You must be 100% perfect every time. Any errors eat away at your ev.
.5% is under optimal rules, which you cannot find anymore. Second, the rules of basic strategy change depending on count. Third, you have to count your hand and everyone else’s while appearing to act natural and give instructions to your dealer whether you want to hit/split/double/stand. Most ppl will easily be thrown off. Fourth, you can play for hours before an advantageous shoe presents itself and a shoe that is 10 rich doesn’t guarantee you will win. Plus, if youre at a full table, a single hand can run turn a +12 shoe into dead even and you end up with a 17. Fifth, if you’re constantly varying your bet, the pit boss is going to know exactly what youre doing. If youre betting red chips, theyre not going to care. Betting green and black, youre going to attract attention quick.
Look, i learned how to count cards. Didn’t feel difficult, but I am a STEM graduate. Went to Vegas too. Will say learning to count and actually playing and counting is different. I met others in college who were learning it. When alone, they were all good. However when attempted in person at casinos, they couldn't.
If u really wanna win money play heads up against the dealer while playing 2 hands. And just never hit on any number 12 and above even against a face card. If you never bust you will only lose around 50.1% of times. So if steadily u increase your bet u will win. Don’t get me wrong it’s still 50/50 but your edge is slightly higher
That is true and not true! It's correct to play this way because they have just as much chance to get a 6 as their next card as you do. But too many people don't play blackjack in a way with that strategy plus correct math on money management. Each hand you have to get a good hand but so do they!
Counting cards increases your odds of winning to 55%, perfect basic strategy still has a .5% house edge. If you want the edge then spend about 40 hours learning how to count cards, you’re not guaranteed to always have winning sessions but the longer you play, you are guaranteed to be a profitable player. Where’s with any other strategy you’re at a negative EV (expected value) so in the long run you always lose. Counting cards is the way to go
just a heads up, if you use this strategy perfectly then the casino will still roughly 0.5% edge over u compared to the usual 2%. Great to learn but will not guarantee profit as casino still has advantage
basic strategy leaves the house with about 0.5% edge each 1 increase in true count gives you about 0.5% edge, meaning at true count 1-2 is when the player gains an edge
I was with him till he was like, is it difficult to beat the casino, also no. Like teams of professional AP players have hard time with huge bank rolls.
The thing about betting strategies, including card counting, is that they all work until they don’t. If you don’t have the common sense to walk away while you’re ahead, or spend more than your original bankroll, you’re going to have problems.
@@eliasturk Elias is right partially you are still gambling card counters can still lose its just unlikely they will in the longrun kind of how some people can win playing blackjack over a lifetime without an advantage just by beating the odds out of luck it rarely happens but it can
It is hard to count cards! It isn’t like brain surgery but it is hard! You have to have a bankroll, keep the running count, play perfect blackjack strategy with deviations for any chance of success against a casino. Even then, without a good bet spread you might lose your entire bankroll, or not win enough money to make it worth your time.
Just saying as little as you can about card counting only stating the obvious while showing footage from a channel that neither counts or plays perfect strategy and isn't even playing in a real casino. You left out like 95% of how to actually have an advantage counting the cards is the easy part you left out bankroll management, bet spreads, risk of ruin, how to spot a good game vs a bad one, how to obtain the true count, when to play your bet spread, when to walk away from a shoe, how to play variations based on the count
@@mattvisconti8456 The dealer and the Pit Boss know your a card counter 5 minutes after you sit down at a blackjack table. If you get greedy you will be gone.
@georgespalding7640 pahahaha no they fucking don't. The dealers especially aren't counting while dealing, adding hands, checking for blackjack, paying out side bets, etc. I got backed off from a local after aggressive play there. Playing 6 hours every other day for 3 weeks. I got roughly 60 hours of counting done and was wildly open, backing out a true -1 to reduce risk. 1-12 spread.
I don't think you actually know clark county because there is more than which you explain what about the true count what if you are in minus 6 and get to minus 1 should you assume that that is a plus 5 because five cards have been dealed if you keep getting more pluses the odds will change on you
@@ParShuffle not to mention you're still dead wrong about 4 6 or 8 decks. Those are still very countable and aren't immediately uncountable just because there are 4 6 or 8
House edge as per normal in BJ is higher than .5%. More like 2% for the average player. Learning PERFECT basic strategy reduces it for you to that .5% you mentioned.
Ik this is a super late reply but, you can always ask to see the burn card. Not sure if some casinos don't allow this but every casino I've been to has allowed showing the burn card if you just ask(I tell them I wanna see my lucky card as an excuse). Also you have to take in consideration the true count based of how many decks they use when counting. Gl ❤
You count all cards, your own, other players, the dealers, all of it. You bet more when there’s a positive true count, not just running count. Your running count to keep track of all the cards is good but if you have a +2 running count of the beginning of the shoe, you have a big chance of losing. The true count is found by taking your running count and then divide it by deck remainder (how many decks are left in the shoe). For example, it’s a lot better to have a +4 running count when there’s only 2 decks left, a true count of +2 (+4/2) It’s a lot better than a +7 after only about 1 deck has been dealt, giving a true count of +1 (+7/5) rounding down. (Assuming the table is a 6 deck shoe) Especially it’s a lot better for the player to have a high running count near the end of the shoe for the most optimal playing
There’s apps/websites where you can practice your counting skills. You have to master it where it doesn’t look like you’re counting and isn’t obvious. You need to practice months and months to get THAT good. It’s taken me 4 months to really have it down as to where I don’t look obvious.
