Blackman Shows Up In Hong Kong Island And This Happens, They Didn't Believe I Could Speak Chinese…
In this video, I showed up in many different areas in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Island and got many reactions as I was speaking the Chinese language. I also got into conversations with the Chinese and Hong kong locals to understand how life is like living in Hong Kong. I also tried some cantonese food such as dim sum.

@@boylittle1519 I have been to the old Hong Kong in 2018 and it sure seemed like Singapore. I was afraid as I can't really speak Mandarin and Cantonese that well but I was amazed that once I had trouble finding out the correct words the other party immediately switched to English.

I canceled Netflix for this particular RU-vid channel. The reasons: - I always lern something new every time I watch it. - It breaks the barriers in my head regarding what media and film industry have feed me with. - I'm global traveler with his channel while sitting in my room somewhere in Germany. - I always see something special in China, Chinese are good people, they approach you, they appreciate it when you talk their language, they walk hand in hand with their parents on the streets, they mind their own business.

I think if people get to travel they should really see the world. Its not exactly what the media portrays sometimes. I traveled all around Asia and Europe and can tell you its amazing. It's better to ask whether people speak Mandarin (putonghua) rather than if they speak Chinese. Cantonese is also a Chinese language, so people may get confused.

yes. There are 8 main dialects and dozens of sub dialects. All Chinese. I heard that it's like many other Asian countries where one speaks a few dialects. Many sound similar.

@@FelThommy Mandarin and Cantonese are all Chinese languages/dialects. You need to ask if they speak Mandarin instead of 'Chinese'. Correct way to say another side of China is 'mainland China'（内地）。I don't know why Hong Kong people start calling 'mainland China' as 'China', that gives false information to people that Hong Kong is a 'Country'!! And these is no 'Kongkongese', it's Cantonese, they also call the dialect 'Cantonese'.
