Blackmont Control panel 

For the Blackmont area I needed a control panel for the switch machines. On the top layer of the layout the control panels are built into the fascia. On the bottom layer this would have them at too low a level to comfortably use unless one was sitting. Additionally my aisle space is very tight, so I decided to build a slide out panel. Another departure from my other control panels, I decided to use a Digitrax DS-74 to drive the Tortoise machines for mainline turnouts. I did this as to allow the layout's dispatcher to control the mainline turnouts via JMRI's PanelPro(tm). For turnouts not on the mainline, I'll continue to use DPDT toggle switches.
