I get tears in my eyes, every time when I here this amzing song.I havn't seen my kids for a very long time, but I hope they can hear my voice every day when I say good night to there pictures.
I've listened to this song uncountable times. I love Blackmore's Night and there are a lot of their songs that speak to me but this one is my last months favourite. The music is great and we many times talk about the way Ritchie mesmerize us with his music but here I have to say that Candice's soft voice but also the range and power of her voice made me especially love this particular song. Thank you.
At the end it's like Candice has absolutely no idea how powerful a performance she just gave. And the bass player has to tell her to go act like a big star.
I have now seen Balckmores night live. I can only say that unless you have done so, you really cannot comment on them. One minute the audience is clapping and joining in, the next they stand in silence, some holding back tears. The band will use you as an emotional plaything, and you will love every second. They are a must see before you die live act, the albums versions are all pale imitations of the real thing.
I wish they come again to Poland... I've seen them alive only once, doesn't change that I love their music so much... Have all the albums and dvds... I want to dress up in the reneissance clothes again to stand in the first row!!
I can never watch one of their live videos. end up watching 4 or 5 every time. I would love to hear her sing Songbirg. The emotion she can put into a song I imagine her version would rival Eva Cassidys.
i would see this in the states soon if they want to come.Enya came she and her sis also sang folk but irish folk, so magical u would lose yourslf in the moment like i do here with Blackmore's Night. So wonderful.
Sorry; I think Candice is trying to copy her; not musically but clothing wise - and Stevie can really rock out while I've yet to hear Candice do that and when she does it's awful. Stick to this type of music Candice!...and Stevie is a legend; I may not be her #1 fan but she just is....
Don, the Danes (my people, not "by descent" 6 generations ago but by birthright), became Christian because it was politically expedient. Danes are very big on efficiency! Becoming Christian meant that France and Germany (well what was them at the time) were no longer a threat, as Christian kingdoms could not attack each other without Papal blessing.) The "gods" were not abandoned, they were just politically expedient. Let me guess, you are just another bigoted American or other foreigner, claiming Nordic "culture" for your own bullshit right wing agenda? Guess what? A Hebrew, or Muslim or Hindu, who is actually born in the Nordic states, has more claim to being Scandinavian than you ever will! Stop appropriating MY heritage for your Nazi fantasies, you are not, nor ever will be, welcome in Scandinavia!
Dear Michael, I love my country and its people and its heritage. I also love that it believes in equality before anything else. I am just tired of so many, with extreme right wind leanings, who are not Nordic, claiming 'Nordic' culture when all they are truely interested in is pushing their anti-equality agenda.
