Aber diese mittelalterlich angehauchte Musik, überhaupt mittelalterliche Musik, ist für mich der Rock des Mittelalters. Ich erinnere mich sehr gern an dieses total harmonische Konzert Anfang der 2000er Jahre. Auch die Stimme von Candice ist einfach wundervoll.

Candice Night is so Pretty with a very nice voice. Blackmore's night is a very good band. I saw Deep Purple in 1970 when I was stationed in Germany in the army. It was a 3-day concert in Aachen.

As a hard rocker from way back, it seems almost refreshing to see Blackmore, a shithead extraordinaire, dancing and playing as if he has suddenly rediscovered life. I think I might have even seen him smile during the video. Obviously a man of considerable talent and intellect, crappy personality notwithstanding, perhaps this is the thing that finally allowed him to find absolute joy in his work and in his life.
