So glad I ordered this kit. I’m not typically a mushroom fan, but they look really cute in the pastel colors. Love the black background, I might try this technique with dark navy on a snowflake embossing folder.😁
Oh wow.... I love these cards so much Amy. They are such a treasure. I've tried the blackout technique but I guess I pressed too hard with my versafine black onyx ink pad. I must try this again some day
yeah you don't want to press the ink pad at all - just make contact with the paper and drag it. It takes a while to get coverage b/c you aren't using any pressure but that's what makes it work ;)
I wouldn't mess with attempting to water down pastes to splatter with them, besides the fact that watering down a glitter paste will effectively remove what's in it to hold the glitter to the paper
I need a floral embossing folder just so I can try this technique. All of my folders are geometric. I've tried it but it doesn't look in any way interesting.
