The name was changed, thanks to Kim Jisso. (🐇🐢🌲) The song Boombayah was originally titled Oppa-yah, but Jisoo saved it and said Boombayah, because, Oppa-yah was just too damn cringey. I agree. 👸👍

Great videos! I have been making my wife watch them so she can see why I like them so much. You capture the essence of why I also like them…. The production, the vibe, the artistry, the fun they have, the lyrics, the dancing, and the adorable ladies. Funny… I am a 48 year old male, married, father of two teenage boys. Somehow I heard BLACKPINK last year and have been obsessed ever since. My family teases me!!! There is just something about this group of 4 ladies that is very uplifting and fun. Somehow they also pull off being both 1) adorable and 2) sexy/hot! Also, if you watch any of their interviews or their reality shows on RU-vid, you will fall in love with them and how cute and fun they are. They genuinely love each other and are so close. I have tried other K-Pop bands, and while I enjoy some others, none come close to the chemistry and “it factor” that makes this group so lovable. Supposedly they will have a new album and possibly a world tour this year or next. I will definitely try to go if they are ever in the US in the NJ/NY/PA area. Although I might have to go by myself as my wife and kids dont care! By the way, you will hear their songs often lately in some US movie trailers. 😂😂😂. 🖤💖🖤💖

While testing my new Air buds (Christmas 2019) I stumbled upon Blackpink. I never knew I would enjoy this group so much. It started as one video which became multiple videos. i watched everything that had anything to do with the girls. I have watched at least one Blackpink related video, every day since that Christmas day. Blackpink got me through the pandemic and made me a more happy person.

I saw them back in 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas the last night of their North American tour. Amazing doesn't begin to describe seeing them live as I was in Heaven that night. The coolest thing other then the girls that night for me was I thought at 48 I would be one of the oldest Blink's at the show until I saw an old man in his 70's or 80's with his pink hammer light stick. Our girl's have fans of all ages. Oh, Mega we going to fight Rosé is mine! Just kidding I love meeting fellow Rosé fan's, but I always tell them they going have to fight me over her as a light hearted joke.

Not sure where your accent is from but BLACKPINK has probably been in your area. They did a whole US 🇺🇸 TOUR in 2019. Not to mention, being an honorary artist (1st kpop guests) and a whole highlight during Coachella 2019, kicking off their US-CANADA tour. (worldwide including Europe right after US)
