I think the crowd really liked it. Since they can't (probably) understand most of the lyrics, they focus mainly on the beat and the dance. In America, usually it is proper to wait until the end and give a big applause. I know it's nerve-wracking because different atmosphere but I think everything went fine. Girls did a very good cover 😇

Usually you clap at the very end of the performances, in programs like that and since they don’t know the song itself, they can’t jam to the awesomeness that is BlackPink.

첫번째 영상을 보고는 놀라서 다른 영상도 찾아봤는데 정말 잘하네요(제가 한국 아이돌 영상, 리액션, 커버댄스 보는게 취미인데.. 거의 상위 1%) 위 영상... 신입생 및 학부모 대상으로 저런 무대를 보여줬으니, 다른 곳 가려던 학생들도 님네 학교 가겠네요~^^ 진짜 잘해요~

You have to understand their position though. This is an audience that's been used to American hiphop and pop already. Honestly when I found BP, I understand they're good but it wasn't something I loved, and it's still like that today for me It could be my preferences, yeah, but I'm pretty sure not everyone's open minded

Violet Violets? Well i have to agree with that but let me say something about the preferences. Believe it or not, i actually detest k-pop or anything related to koreans. I mean , why would you love something that you can't evem understand right? I even use to tease my friends who listen to k-pop But i change. When i was in youtube watching different random things, i see the song that my friend always listen. That is boombayah. I tried it out of curiousity. I listen for it a few times and then i found myself actually enjoying it. That what pulls me into k-pop world. i try other songs from different groups including bts,Exo and twice. I also started to enjoy it. So yeah it must be the preferences of different persons listening to it.

학창시절때 수련회나 축제하면 너도나도 룰라 날개잃은천사, 3,4! 춤추고 난리였는데 이게 세계로 이어져 K팝으로 불리고 우리나라 음악으로 저렇게 춤 추는날이 올줄이야. K팝 자랑스럽네요

장소에 따라 공연을 관람하는 자세가 다를 수 있는 것인데 어떤 경우든 가수 콘서트장에서 관람하는 것과 같은 반응을 기대하는 것은 국가에서 정해놓은 기본 교육을 받지 않는 사람들의 사고방식인가 집중해서 관람하고 끝나면 박수쳐주는 것만으로도 충분한 것인데 어깨를 들썩여야 직성이 풀리는건가 이 영상을 제대로 봤다면 충분히 리액션이 좋은 공연이었다는 것을 알 수 있는데 왜 이렇게 소란스러운 댓글이 많은건가 촌티 내지말고 잘봤다 내지 잘했다 정도의 코멘트만 남겨 적당히 촌빨 날려라
