The jisoo scene in dudududu is about how media loves you insanely but will instantly criticize you when you did something they dont want. That is why the phones turned into like a gun, pointing at the celebrity’s mistake 😉
👑💎DDU DU DDU DU holds 3 historical records. 1- it was the first song by a kpop GROUP to surpass a billion views 2- It is now the first song of a kpop GROUP that has surpassed 2 billion views. 3- and it is the song of a kpop GROUP with the most views in all of history.
Shutdown references : ddu du du ddu Jennie's tank Lisa sword Jisso's part where everyone is watching her the she falls and everyone pointed gun on her And rosé's swing part If you don't recognize it watch again both songs you will get it ❤
HOW YOU LIKE THAT achieved 86.4 million views in 24 hours, won the VMA for best song of summer 2020 and the song is the soundtrack of the movie HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 4.
18:50 This shot is so deep and awesome She explains that people film the celebrity and follow him, but as soon as he falls due to a mistake or a scandal, everyone rushes to publish and photograph it.
Pause as much as you like and make insightful comments. Those people that don't want you to pause can just watch the MV. Jisoo falling scene is symbolic of the hatred that Kpop idols often experience in social media by netizens, that has lead to so many Kpop Idol suicides, and each of the members had previously been targeted with hate. First, the men are focused solely on "Celebrity Jisoo" ignoring/not caring at all about the real Jisoo that is standing right in front of them. However, as soon as she trips and falls (makes some mistake), they turn into masked assassins ready to finish her off on social media (using their phones/internet as weapons, that is why they have pistol grips). Nevertheless, Jisoo stands defiantly back up, knowing full well the hate storm she is about to endure. Note, not a single one of the men went to help her up, all are ready to finish her off.
Teddy is the guy who produces most of their songs. He's a former member of the group 1TYM, and has produced songs for Big Bang and 2NE1. He now is CEO and lead producer of BlackLable, which is under the umbrella of YG (Blackpink's label). He's a god tier producer and has made many world wide bangers! His style is kind of minimalist but still very impactful and high energy. For me, he's up there with Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and Rick Ruben.
Completely agree, all their songs are unique from each other, even if they do have a certain Blackpink signature to them. And as you can see, Blackpink loves to self-reference, and not only with the tank = we see in D4, all these masked figures pointing their phones at Jisoo like guns, but in HYLT, it's Rosé' who's putting on the mask and turning the tables. Also, agree that Lisa's rap in HYLT and Jennie's in D4 are both top-tier, Blinks still aren't over them to this day
Now I can recommend to you one of their best two songs kill this love (which is a masterpiece, you’ll definitely like it) & their debut song Whistle (you said you like beat changes, you should definitely listen to it)
This is Blackpink 🖤💗 I love them all. I remembered when How You Like That was revealed, I was really excited because it would be my first comeback 😭❤️ Ddu Du Ddu Du it's an iconic song for kpop, in my opinion ❤
I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but the "DDU-DU, DDU-DU" encore live remix at Tokyo Dome is a must see. They are so good live...interacting with the crowd and each other. Also, it's good to see how they work with their band.
The patterns they mention is maybe becouse the title tracks have the same line distribution (mostly) they usually start with Jennie capting the attention then moves to lisa and then rose and jisoo (this two can be switched), then the chorus, a rap part ( can be jennie or lisa or both) and then jisoo and rose switched the 2nd chorus and then the outro
Ddd is kpop song that make me kpopers 😂 this song really viral in my country that time. Everytime everywhere every people play this song, trending youtube for weeks and i really love how their face and voice are different 😅 that’s why I love blackpink so much
If u notice u can see it was a pupa and then it becames a wing like thing ,and in the first scene jennie with a water drop representing the water under the rock meaning that they were stuck under the rock and the coming out again overall they are showing how they were stuck under many circumstances and how they come back powerfully you can even hear rose saying you could have ended when u had the chance
Suggestion: The Ultimate Guide to Blackpink 2022 is currently the best and most current guide IMO. An older one that will let you know the girls personalities is An Unhelpful Guide to Blackpink 2019 version (not the 2020 version which is not good).
I just love how smart you are and how fast you catch up to details. Seriously, the IT girl groups from today, are definitely Blackpink and (G)Idle, so.... I'm waiting for you to find that group and dive into it head first xD
Shut down references many of his previous videos, but the most referenced are Ddu-du ddu-du, Playing with fire and Whistle. Jennie's rap about the tank is something from hell. The patterns in their music exist, but they manage to make those patterns serve different currents of rhythm and style. Because if you compare their two albums, the songs on the first one are not the same on the second one, in Pink Venom they raise their sights even more, showing the voices they have, with songs that don't have an MV but are a delight to listen to.
There are various talented groups, w/amazing MV's. But Blackpink is the only group, that has several of their MV's with 1BILLION+ views🤗. YG invests millions on their MV's. No green screen, every set is real, & all of their outfits are top couture. Although now, YG doesn't really spend on BP's wardrobe. Because fashion labels butter up to them. In the hopes that the girls will wear their label, in their comeback MV, airport, & special events.
ok since yesterday i binged watched most of your blackpink reactions and it's really cool how you pause the videos to actually analyse them. i started to listen to blackpink last year and they already are my top artist of the year, but there are things that i've never paid attention in the production. now watching you talk about these things i really wanna discover all the things that i missed. in the MVs it's actually worse because i really have to force myself to stop looking at rosé and paid attention on everything. all the girls are really beautiful and i love their voices but i'm a simp for rosé
If you notice, in Shut down makes many references to this video as the tank, Jisoo with the umbrella, Lisa with the katana, rosé on the swing, shut down is the reference that is past era, blackpink the most iconic, like shut it down
14:21 the scene from Lisa holding the Blackpink Katana was remade in Shut Down 18:30 this scene was in Shut Down as well were Jisoo took a Selfie infront of the scene :D same goes for 20:21 they remade this scene only with a black painted chandelier ind Shut Down as well :) As you already saw some Blackpink Musicvideos (not all of course), I recommand you to maybe rewatch the Shut Down video if you see all the call backs and references on your own :) and take a close look at the alley scene.... :)
For Jisoo scene in DDU-DDU : people pay attention to the still picture, the perfect shot. They are admiring her ,taking pictures. But her real self that has life, that moves is being ignored while shw walks among them. But the minute she makes a mistakes, the moment she trips people are paying attention, their admiration has turned into bullet, they pones has turned into guns qith whoch they shoot their hate opinions like bullets. It hints at the dark side of Kpop, the idol lifestyle.
si te gustó mucho la variedad de sonidos en dddd, probablemente te guste "Crazy Over You", también es de blackpink, del mismo álbum que hylt "The Album", pero no tiene video musical
Currently you are my top reaction channel, when you upload a video - I watch it instantly. I like most your blackpink reactions because i'm familiar to it.
You should definitely check out "Kill This Love" by blackpink.. the MV has so much meaning and details I know you'll definitely get that without us spoiling anything.
Jisoo pink hair part, people/media take pics of 'perfect' image of an idol, but once she make mistake, the same phone that was idolizing her turn into a weapon in attacking her(in social media) and they are all anonymous (hence all the ski masks)
Most of the "shut down" clip was already taken from old clips. The tank is just one. For example, the popcorn that jennie ate was also in the lovesick girl clip. or the rose swaying on the chandelier in this song. There are more...
When Jisoo falls the people around her are taking of the perfect image of her (the big picture behind). But when she falls (make a a mistake or something) they are quick to point at her
The horses at the end of how you like that are the Trojan horses. I dont know if you know the story of that but they are used by Greeks to invade the city of Troy. And theres a world map at the ceiling of the room where they are dancing. It symbolises the world domination of Blackpink. 😁
If you like music videos, BLACKPINK's B-SIDES will like you more because they are much better, that's the best of BLACKPINK that never ceases to amaze you.😎😏
How You Like That (HYLT) is based on Greek mythology. From the bust of Nike (the goddess of victory) at the opening (the “angel” you referred to) up to the Trojan horse at the end. There is someone who did a deep dive on what each scene in HYLT-“Priest Reacts to Blackpink’s How You Like That”.
I've seen your reaction on tiktok i went on youtube to watch your whole reaction to BLACKPINK. I just love how you give compliments to each member especially to my bias ROSÉ ❤❤
