Because the actual one didn’t really have much of a buildup at all in the pre-chorus. Dddd and ktl have HUGE build ups to the chorus, and it’s kinda out of the ordinary for BlackPink in general not to have one. But keep in mind, this is supposed to be a b-side, not a title track, so it’s supposed to sound a little “emptier”

This version fits the more "4 elements" Or "MoDerN rOboTic" Theme they have going on in those teasers, but the original song fits the outfits and the kind of aesthetic in the mv more. I loved the instrumental combining 3 elements, the first has a more vibrant and dancing electronic style, the other has a darker and darker style and an instrumental with more beats, the last and calmer, cleaner. This is a great instrumental and probably the original instrumental will look like this.
