They're also known for the most beautiful and expensive music videos in Kpop. Now i guess we can say that it's worldwide. But yeah 4 of them shines together. 4 members are 4 aces.

This channel is worth it for your facial expressions. LOL. Blackpink's got a lot more for you. You've done TV show video and Official Music Video, try Coachella for their live performance of Ddu du Ddu du. You won't be disappointed.
loved your reaction! make sure to turn on the CC button to get the English lyrics all blackpink m/vs have English captions. next react to their debut hits boombayah and whistle
Loved the reaction. That mix of bewilderment and joy... Welcome to the family. Their fans are called Blinks. Check out their cover of “Sure Thing” by Miguel. It’s a great way to discover their live capabilities.
When you're thinking about the cost of this video... highest quality cameras, including crazy robotic rigs every outfit is couture no green screen, every set is real (only one of their first videos uses green screen briefly) how many crew (including backup dancers) work on this? There are very good reasons that this M/V gets 860M views in 10 months, apart from the fact that the song slaps.
Well said, the videos are next-level in every aspect. The level of detail is incredible, I've gone back and picked apart the videos looking for a "miss" but they've got it covered, there are even layers of detail that you can't see at first unless you're a psycho BLINK like me and freeze the video and "Making Of" every five seconds!!
Just the one scene where they're each shown standing in front of the wings. Aside of the cost of the wings themselves, Lisa is in a Celine dress straight off the runway, Jennie is in a Chanel dress straight off the runway, and Rosé and Jisoo were in custom made dresses done by Bridal Kong that cost about $30K each...and other than Rosé, each is in the frame for like a second....
@@aaronwong1977 Yes, I still wonder what happens after they finish filming, what do you do with the twenty foot bear trap from KILL THIS LOVE? Those set pieces are so unique, it would be a shame to destroy them.
The funny thing is that thay don't use green screen at all in their music videos. All of them are hand made by their teams who work with them and make the sets ready for them to film. The only time they used green screen was in their music video for WHISTLE and that was in 2016.
They know they bad they got swag sass angelic vocals nd confident raps nd the way they dressed with the number of views they have yu know they racking up stacks Jennie is my wife nd jisoo is my mistress for life lol kidding my bias nd my bias wrecker
You are right, individually they have a lot of power when it comes to talent. Putting them together its a powerhouse. In fact two members Jennie (white and black hair) and Rose ( purple hair) have already debut with solo work. The other two, Lisa (short hair w bangs) and Jisoo (red dress) are next to debut solo. (FYI they change their hair colours and hairstyle from time to time but you'll get used to it) Jennie Kim "SOLO" Rose "On The Ground" & "GONE Lisa is currently working on her solo project so she is said to be debut round July. But their label always delays the music so we just have to wait and see. Keep and eye out! Jisoo is currently going to debut as an actress for a Korean drama called SNOWDROP There will be a Group music release sometime around September if things don't get delayed. Look forward to that too1
You need to get into their Coachella set and their Tokyo dome. Tokyo dome is the same but Lisa raps in English. Jennie mixes raps in English and Japanese. And the lyrics are English and japanese instead.

Ah, as you also appreciate the visuals and production, if you go to their official YT channel - ru-vid.com/show-UCOmHUn--16B90oW2L6FRR3A - and enter "making of" int the search bar there, it will bring up a list of their 'making of' videos for their M/Vs. If you go down to their 24/365 sub-channel, IIRC, there is more backstage footage for this in episodes 1 & 2. This song is also being used, as requested by Miss Gomez who is one of the stars, for the film Hotel Transalvania - she is a big BLINK and featured prominently in their Ice Cream song.
Their music videos are seriously next level, and they have only used green screen on one video back in the day, but every other video they had the set built it's amazinnggggg. If you haven't already you should check out their debut song Boombayah, and Kill This Love! Also welcome to the BLACKPINK rabbit hole lol
Their label is YG. Historically YG has always been more hip hop oriented. Their founder is the first kpop label to add rap into kpop. Their producer teddy park was a rapper with YG in the 1990’s and now produces. He went to Korea for it when he was 18 but before that grew up in the United States. So his beats reflect western trap beats and more pop sounds which is dope. Plus YG has some of the best rappers point blank.
And their videos are not only beautiful, they have a lot of symbolisms and storylines. This may look disjointed and all over the place but the video is actually a representation of Greek mythology. From the goddess of victory Nike (the wings at the beginning) to the Trojan horses at the end. And each scene of the video refers to a particular Greek myth.
