I think making this MV is very difficult compared to other blackpink videos because the properties are so complicated and big and blackpink doesn't use a greenscreen
At this point, blackpink fandoms is on a range from teenagers to adult people, from pop music fans to metalheads, from a casual music listeners to a music producers, from a normal people to a celebrities, in fashion industry each girls also known as a GLOBAL brands ambassadors for high end fashion brands (jisoo-dior, lisa-celine, jennie-chanel, and rose-YSL), so yeah blackpink set their standard really high
Fun Fact: They haven't performed this song in front of a live audience yet because of the pandemic. But I'm sure they will be performing it on tour which starts in October.
The first girl is the girl from pink venom that you loved her rap flow and her voice, bangs with the bob is Lisa the second rapper from pink venom , silver hair is rose she had the guitar in pink venom and Jisoo is the last girl with the deeper voice and she played the instrument in the beginning of pink venom
As Blink (Blackpink’s fandom) I wanna thank you for your reaction to their music video. Blinks will support you💙 I would like to advise you to watch their live performances on the official Coachella’s channel. You will understand how talented they are and their beautiful music.👑🔥
Someone just explained this MV like this way which I think everything perfectly described: Just for context, HOW YOU LIKE THAT is about coming back from a dark place stronger than before. There are many Greek references in the video, a few examples are: The winged statue in the temple represents Nike, Goddess of Victory. Rosé (silver hair), in the beginning, is portraying Persephone, Goddess of Vegetation (plants, flowers) and the daughter of Zeus. One day while she was out gathering flowers, Hades, God of the Underworld, abducted her and dragged her down to the Underworld where she was forced to become his wife. The video shows her in her beautiful image, surrounded by flowers, as well as how she became, dirty and grey, staring up at the world through a hole in the Underworld. She was eventually allowed to return to the surface for part of the year, which is why we have Spring and Summer. Jennie (maroon dress) under the umbrellas is surrounded by dancers, their hands are "spiders", crawling over her face. Directly after this, under the burning umbrellas (they're rotating too, by the way), Jisoo is seated in a chair that is spiderlike in its design. The Trojan Horses at the end are a message from BLACKPINK to the world. They symbolize the fact that BLACKPINK, like the Greeks, will emerge and take over the global music world. If you look at the last scene you will notice that on the inside of the dome it looks like there's an organic growth over parts of the ceiling. It's actually a map of the world that the group is going to dominate
Have been following you guys because of your recent reactions. Great stuff!! You have reacted basically to all their big title tracks, and you would have seen by now there is a certain pattern to them. However there are some of arrangements and styles to their music too. Their debut songs, Whistle and Boombayah have a different style to those that you have reacted to so far. And also check out the B sides of their last album "The Album" and you will see variety.
Next BlackPink "Pretty Savage" code lyrics and live performance please there is no MV for this song or BP "Sure Thing" (Miguel cover )live Party People. thanks love your reaction btw
Yep. They have only used green screen one time and that was in one of their debut mvs, Whistle, while they're sitting on the Earth. An Unhelpful Guide to Blackpink really goes into their personalities. I believe The Ultimate Guide is more achievement or skill oriented. I prefer the first but I put personality above achievements so thats just me. Both are good.
You should definitely check out - BLACKPINK: Journey and Friendship - This Is How BLACKPINK Was Formed - if you want an outdated but beloved guide “an (un)helpful guide to BLACKPINK(2019 version)” - The Revolution: A Story of BLACKPINK These are all a great start to learn more about the group, great reaction!!
All their sets in the mv's has meaning to it. Love your reactions as always, hope you guys can also react to their live performances especially coachella and tokyo dome ones.
They have a Netflix documentary 'Light Up The Sky'. Everything you need to know about them will be answered. Some reactors split it in 4 parts to make it to RU-vid. I'll definitely watch if you react to it.
red dress scene with jisu is an obvious homage to mcqueen's legendary joan of art show. the dress she wore is of course, a mcqeen dress, of a more recent collection.
Guys if wanna watch behind the scenes there are videos for each of their MV on their yt channel itself. The production is truly huge you will be amazed to actually see that. Anyways guys keep reacting to our "Pinks" they're just as amazing & talented. I loved your reaction 💙 & just subscribed your channel to see journey through their discography which is not hella huge but is full of bangers 🔥🖤
Welcome to the rabbit hole! You’re in too deep to get out now. 😁 I see some good recommendations from my fellow Blinks 👍🏻 Check out their appearance on the James Corden show when they perform Pretty Savage. It is 🔥! There’s no mv for this song so this live is the next best thing.
Main vocalist Rosé, even Korean and western artists always mention for collaboration with her, but until now the agency has not allowed it. Rosé recently got a Guinness World Record #1 artist first Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Exl US 200 as both soloist and part of group. Please also react when Blackpink appears in VMAs live on RU-vid MTV. Thanks you 🙏

As a BLINK, thank you for reacting to BP. As some says, welcome to the rabbit hole :). A lot of people of different age and different music style, likes a lot BP music. Plus, they're so lovable, humble and funny. That "BP in your area" is already like their trademark. Used in some songs. A side note. I hope you react to NCT 127(one,two,seven) in the future, they're an all rounder group. They have awesome rappers, awesome vocalists, awesome performers. Sometimes, some members write or compose their music. They're known as King of experimental music/sound. Thank you.
They always change their hair color every comeback, in the pink venom era the blonde named Rosé, and in this MV her hair is silver and has a unique voice and is the main vocalist of the group and is dubbed the golden voice of Korea. So don't race on hair color because they always change it. Please react at the VMAs on Chanel MTV at that time Rosé's hair was blonde and she was nicknamed "the blonde girl" until it was trending on Twitter, because when she appeared all members had black hair except for Rosé her hair was blonde, when at Coachella Rosé's hair was also blonde so she was often nicknamed "the blonde girl" , because most of her hair is blonde, although she often changes hair color. And now I just saw on Instagram that he has updated his hair, changing it a bit to coral beige. Thanks you 🙏

Unfortunately they are a bit short, but you can still see the sets, the filming process as well as a bit more of Blackpink as people. All of these videos have English subtitles.
I'm happy every time there's new reactors listening to Blackpink. 🥰 They usually have a MV Film Making on their channel. Please check them out too. 🤗❤️
React to live performances - Kill this love (tokyo dome 2020) - ddu du ddu du (coachella) - sure thing (cover) full english - pretty savage (sbs inkigayo)
To me Blackpink was a group with potential that never went anywhere--their label gave them no creative freedom and almost no music. If you want to check out interesting/iconic girl groups I would check out 2NE1 (this was the predecessor girl group at Blackpink labels and the label-CEO YG said be created BP to be a prettier version of 2NE1). They were an iconic, gen-2 kpop group. One of the members--CL has great solo songs like Lifted and Hello B*tches. Another amazing group is Mamamoo. Both groups have incredible stage presence and versatility. I tend to be one of those people who mainly follow BTS and don't follow other groups--but groups like Mamamoo and 2NE1 have earned my respect because they know how to bring it on stage.
I recommend to you guys to listen to the song LALISA, is from Lisa, one of the singers from BLACKPINK and she is the main head behind for all the dances in their songs, cheers guys, have a nice one

There is much meaning and hidden symbols in this MV (much greek mythology too) : NIKE status of victory with wigs on WAR HORSES World MAP at the end symboling world conquest To be a bling you need to take lit classes at this point. React next to : - Pretty savage, - Lovesick Girls, - Crazy Over you, - Love to hate me - Kick it
