I have a friend who told me that Ice cream, if you look at it from the perspective of the hood, is a reference to the ice cream man, your neighbourhood friendly coke dealer. And the way they were describing ice cream, and seemingly their addictive craze for it, was so aligned if you picture it in a darker frame of perspective, given the colourful context of the music vid. I know "ice cream" is more inferrable as sexual innuendo, but when I re-read the lyrics, it felt so weird and somehow made sense.

On the one hand, I get the points you’re trying to make about the Lolita vibe to the song and video. But I also think it feels like that because we don’t think it’s acceptable for adults to like things that are seen as childish. But liking ice cream and being cute and colorful shouldn’t be exclusive to children even though society acts like it is lol I know they’re sexualizing it but if we didn’t see those things as exclusively for children, then we wouldn’t think it’s weird to make it sexual in the first place. HOWEVER, the beastiality thing is way off the mark here. Those cats are actual dolls of Lisa’s real life cats (Leo, Luca, Lily, and Louis) and the capybara is one of Jennie’s favorite animals. I don’t know if that golden retriever is actually Rosé’s real pet but I’m pretty sure she has/had a golden retriever named Max.

Weird reaction tbh. Bestiality? Really, like out of all the reactions I’ve watched no one got that at all... and further more, it isn’t about that, far off. Its a bright, fun, cutesy concept with animals. And yeah I saw that, where bebkuhboom the producer, had to explain the lyrics for it cause some people are mixing and misleading the true meaning of the lyrics. 🙄 So embarrassing tbh. She did this for the second time already explaining cause Antis did it also for KTL and she had to explain it again cause the Antis were putting false narrative in the lyrics also.

That's a capybara. For what it's worth, the lyrics in this are a lot more sexual than most (all?) other BLACKPINK songs, and they often do have animals in them. The sexuality came from it being co-written by Ariana Grande, rather than their normal team.
