Its weird the fact a LOT of people got disappointed with this song when it came out because a lot of people were expecting some dirty beat drop like HYLT, funny some people complain because their MV's has the same fórmula and when changes, complian again BUT This song was a sucess, was the 1st kpop song to get the hightest position on Bilboard if I'm not mistaken, and also.. this song is more a fun song you know to break the bad mood of 2020 because of c0vid, so its a fun summer song, AND also Ariana Grande wrote the lyrics so yeah thats why sounds a little bit sexual LMAO, And yes again Lisa rapped, some people hated on Lisa last year because Jennie is the main rapper that doesnt get rap parts and Jisoo a lead vocal the gets less lines, and in HYLT a lot of people were expecting Jisoo to say BP in your area, but Lisa said, and were expecting Jennie to rap and it was Lisa again, and in Ice cream she rapped again and get more lines than Jisoo and some people started to hate on her, she recieved some death threts on Twitter WTF, but anyways this song is a bop anf super catchy, my fav BP collab (This next comment isnt mine it was just a person who replied me) Alot of fans were rioting because their bias wasnt getting enough lines or they expected Jennie to rap more. Lol mostly younger stans on Twitter world though. Alot of anti’s from other groups complained how sexual the lyrics were 😂. Hilarious to sit back and enjoy the show. Bottom line Ice Cream is a bop and the girls just wanted to have some fun and lighten the mood in covid times. It wasnt meant to be like their other bangers. I'm just getting over Covid myself. I couldn't eat anything in the span of a week and a half. Still can't taste much but I do feel a lot better.
