Language barrier? It never stopped me from enjoying the BeeGee's. Even though their music were all in English, I could hardly understand a word they were singing. Pop music is about flow and feel. Kpop can be very different not just as a song itself (most kpop songs change multiple times like this one, which makes it much more interesting to listen to i feel like?), but also depending on which group you listen to. It's not neccessarily just pop, since they seem to get their inspiration from every type of music you have some songs that would be considered rock or just rap and still fall into the k "pop" kategory. A lot of groups also have a changing sound in themselves, where as you might already know what a Taylor Swift or a Lady Gaga song sound like before you hear it you can not always be sure when it comes to those groups. Also I never really wanted to get into kpop before bc I thought it was not as much fun if you don't understand it (like you said), but if you really get into it it doesn't really matter anymore. You kind of just sing along the words you think you might know how to say, and it also helps that they include some amount or words in english. Maybe you want still want to try and look a little bit more into it, kpop has a lot to offer, let it be the music, the videos or the performance (they have a choreography for almost everything). I personally listen to A.C.E, Stray Kids and Ateez, but there are many other goups to check out. (btw Kill This Love was my first kpop video as well, which is why I wrote this xD )
