It's Bruno Mars and was unexpected. Also all we get reported to us is bad news whether it be the wars going on. Perverts in the music industry been outed and along comes unassuming Rose the quiet one and writes a song about a South Korean drinking game. On paper you would be thinking WTF is this but mix in Bruno's familiar sounds and you have a happy tune that people are whistling singing and just enjoying a few minutes of nice. I'm proud of Rose but I love all my blackpink girls and I love Bruno the fact that I've seem them both live and I know all of them can sing live makes it all the better. However at the same time I am angry that it has taken the girls to part and join other companies to be able to have control over their own music and YG let us the fans down. I hate YG now. Now the bad part it is not the song of the year. Sorry it isn't it's what is known in the western music industry as a novelty song. There are many songs that have been released this year that can beat it. Bruno with Lady Gaga is phenomenal. I also think that LISA's collaboration with Rosalia is bloody phenomenal. Sabrina Carpenters Espresso is another phenomenal track. Taylor Swift and Post Malones Fortnight is also epic.
Of course. It is Bruno Mars and this song takes me to the former songs of Bruno. Plus, being an old fart, the APT chorus and cheering clap style reminded me of 1982 "Hey Mickey." The retro feel made me listen to this song since I am just a casual Kpop listener and prefer Kdrama to Kpop.
@@ajdz1840 I actually read that "Hey Mickey" was sampled when I read other comments. And it is good that the original was given credit. Whenever I hear songs of my generation being sampled (sometimes without me knowing at first since I will just say that it sounds familiar), I feel proud of the old times.
