in all honesty i’m so glad this is a rosie solo song. she practices day and night, and hardly ever sleeps, to get better each day for us. her passion for music can be felt through these songs. i will always support her

I just know the hate she'll get now that it has been released. But i am so proud of Rosé. Lisa got a collaboration with DJ snake, so technically she had 3 solos songs (incl money and Lalisa). So it’s only fair that rosé also gets a 3rd solo song. But I didn’t expect YG to be this fair by putting a solo song on the album

I don’t see anh reasons to throw hates on her for getting a solo for this album. She has that vocal, the talent, she is a singer, her passion is singing and I am not saying that Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa don’t have all of that in them, they do. Blackpink as a whole is talented as F, but I’m glad that the team saw this as an opportunity for Roseanne to showcase her capabilities more. I hope they’ll give more opportunities like this to the girls in the future. I’m so happy for them.

Honestly, everyone's vocals really shined and rosé got this entire song to herself so idk why you're saying they didn't include her more on this album smh. Shutdown is the only song where she didn't get as many lines and even with the ones she got, she still slayed so
I don't mind if there are many solo songs in album as long as there are many songs. I thought yg will give us at least 10 songs. But 2 of them are pre release songs and one is a solo . There is only 5 new songs. Disappointed!

It will be Rosie's song as a solo artist in her album and discography. Then they would have to publish this song seperately on Rosie's account on all audio platform. It won't be in this album. And this is nothing new in K-pop. Lots of Kpop groups have solo and subunit songs under the name of the group in their album to show variety.

I don't think YG and the team decided Rosé should get a solo and the others shouldn't; I think first, there's the creation of the production by everyone who collaborated on it and then the girls are placed and fit into the song like pieces of a puzzle. And this production ended up fitting Rosé's tone and style perfectly.
It could've been released on its own as people such as myself were looking forward to a song with all their voices, like YG said "BLACKPINK'S rich emotions".
@@elanan9411 If I'm reading into this correctly, what really stings is that there aren't more songs on the album, which I can understand and agree with. But I also think there's something special about a shorter, more concise album that has no skips, imo at least. Or perhaps you just dislike the fact of a solo song being in the album or wish the others got the same treatment. To that I say, this doesn't have to be a big deal. There's a lot more to look forward to with BP; they've now entered their prime.
And this song fit 100% the album I mean, more than any other album of BP I think all the songs match perfectly together. + it’s not that deep, lot of groups incorporate solo or unit songs in groups albums. Personally, I love EVERY members so I’m happy with everything, any solos I take it, any unit I take it. If ppl are not happy about rosé having another solo, that’s because they re just fan of another member and they re jealous that’s it.

This is one the greatest songs I have ever heard. BLACKPINKs whole album was superb and is the album of the year easily. This song is my favourite and has such a special place to me. I've not felt genuinely moved like this by a song in years. Makes me genuinely cry. Rosé is the joint best vocalist of all time along with Jisoo. Her voice hits like no one else. Her vocal influence on Don't Know What To Do showed that too. That was maybe the last time I felt something like this but I'm just blown away at how this has made me feel. Going back to seeing her on masked singer I knew she was so special from that all time best solo performance. Only Jisoo made me feel something similar with her Habits cover. Sublime voice of Rose, she so deserves this solo!! One of the best songs on the album!! I've noticed that her tone is more powerful and more stable in the Born Pink album which can only mean she has been working very hard to project her vocals. Rose, you are a Star!!
Why does this whole album bang. Like I can’t with these girls. They all bring the cake to the table with all of it. Born Punk is by far my favourite album. Not only do we see the different sides of them, they just continue to blow us away. Especially Lisoo. Like Jisoo is so versatile and her voice suits every song. And Lisa her voice is so beautiful. I hopefully get to hear more of her voice. Love them so much ❤
Same here! I'm confuse why she's the only one who have a solo. They could've put 3 more solo songs on the project for Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo, upped the songs count to 11.
YG always does this. Lisa and Jennie got all the spotlight for the 2 MV tracks while Jisoo deserves a full focused solo debut so Rosé is the one reasonably left to do the YG tradition of putting a solo songs in the album.

I love that they have a mix of really cool upbeat songs for when you need the hype and energy, but also many calm and even sad songs, cause they are god for when you’re not feeling the best or just wanna relax and they showed some great Vocals, I really love the album and can’t wait for my boxset and the concert 🥰
