YG don't let his artists to show their natural skills and techniques, he prefers the uniqueness, and teaches them techniques that doesn't match the singers voices, skills. Actually you can see the differences in rose voice in their MVs and on mask of king,it's totally different
jutaesu if anything I think she should quit the lessons because the vocal trainers taught her those techniques like for example when she was featured in GD's Without You her technique was different because she hadn't received any training yet. Even Akmu's suhyun decided to quit YG's vocal lessons because she didn't like how they tried to change her technique and voice. Either way her voice is amazing with or without lessons😻.
Rosé wasn't in her best condition, but she still hit all the high notes perfectly & as always her voice stood out for its unique colours among all of them, her voice is truly precious. I'm so proud of you Rosé, you were great!💙💙💙💙

Even rosè didn't reach the proper highnote due to her condition atleast she slay and give a perfect harmonization to the other singers but tbh her highnote here is good even she made it lower just to protect her voice 😍

@@kledi3817 She had trouble reaching the high note and staying on pitch backstage because of her sore throat, though good thing BTOB Sungjae guided her. She hit the note flawlessly on stage but if she wasn't in that condition, her voice would've been more stronger.

Ok fine. Rose is not a powerhouse vocalist. But STOP confusing being a good singer with being a powerhouse vocalist! You don't have to be able to belt perfectly to be a good singer, there are different genres of music and different singers prefer different styles of singing. Rose has a "unique", modern style of singing (for lack of better a way to describe it lol), a voice that's honestly not suited for belts but she is perfect in singing softer and more gentle music like ballads, and tbh her voice color is really beautiful. To give you an example, Jungkook of BTS has also never tried to establish himself as a powerhouse vocalist, but that again is totally fine, because he, like Rose, can still give you goosebumps when they sing soft songs (sry for the BTS mention, Im just multifandom trash ;) ) And again, just because her technique is not perfect here, does NOT mean that she cannot learn. Give her a break, she's only just started her career and I think she knows exactly what she's doing, given that she is so successful at such a young age. Virtually any singing technique can be mastered through proper coaching, and she'll master pieces like this too, just give her time to develop. Yes man I definitely agree with you she's got plenty of time to improve I'm sure she will. Her vocal colour is also really unique and (to me) really pleasant and soothing to the ears even when it's loud or high.

I cant believe she was Feeling Sick yet she still mangage to get that high and to even add her flavor thats a singer right there when u can make it ur own and also stay true to the song not to mention have the smarts to not damage ur voice when ur not well. I don't get it, how is Rosé's technique bad, she literally killed it even though she was sick and hit the notes without sounding unstable or strained... People will always have something to say about the main vocalist of the most popular Kpop group in history.
Why don't people understand that singing higher =/= singing better? Always talking about vocal range... It's about how you sing, not how high or low you can go when singing... Gotta hate it when people imply Mezzo's, Baritones, contraltos and bass's inherently suck cause they can't for the most part reach higher notes, whereas their technique might be absolutely fine. Alek Tuan Vocal range is the lowest note you can hit to the highest that you can, but you don't need to have the widest vocal range to be a good singer.. Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language..

lol the definition of vocal range is not "how you can sing"... its the lowest note to the highest note you can hit. theres a difference between technique, control, and range, and these components and others define good singing.

Their voices are so beautiful. The red haired artist’s vocals fit this song. All the artists here are soooo good. Even if Rosé doesn’t have very good technique and support, her vocal colour enhances the emotion in every song
I was just watching this just to hear rose high notes but when I heard sungjae 'JUNGSHOOK' oh my god they are just so amazing I was suprise by sungjae's high notes and also rose😍😳😊
People kept on saying that they expected more from Rosé but I think Rosé had a sore throat at that time so she couldn't reach as high as your expectations for her. I myself knowing that she had a sore throat and still singing with a powerful voice was very surprised at her. I'm not a vocal expert and neither do I sing but I do know that she has a really good voice (My Opinion). *Edit* I only got the idea of her having a sore throat at that time from the comments so please don't get mad at me if I'm wrong.
