she is really great at interviews but rather than preparedness I think it is just natural for her. Growing up in Australia probably contributed to her bubbly,outgoing, and free spirited personality. Meanwhile Jisoo and Lisa grew up in Korea and Thailand where people are more conservative and individuality is not really promoted. Not sure about Jennie though lol don't really know what environment is like in New Zealand haha
@@Kris2Chan Jennie has more of a rich girl vibe hence Rose seems more down to earth and outspoken whereas Jennie is kind of reserved and careful, it also adds a lot of stress to her as she knows her words need to uphold a certain image. Love em all though just prefer Rose to answer the questions on their behalf tbh

Jisoo also has qualities of a leader even though she doesn't speak much English. So i don't think just because Rose speaks english it makes her come across as a leader especially as Jennie and Lisa do speak english too. There's something about Rose's personality that portrays her as a leader.

i feel like she really lacks confidence. the same was for korean when she said she doesn't speak much during korean interviews because she's scared she's going to mess up but as time went by and bp attended more korean shows, i could say her confidence to speak korean really improved a lot. hopefully, the more english interviews they have, the more confidence she gains.

Same. I only started following Blackpink recently after watching the Kill This Love MV, but from the first few interviews I saw, Rosé struck me as being very humble, caring, polite and respectful. And of course her sweet, high-pitched voice is like honey.

She's fluent in English. Hell, she and her dad always talk in English back then when she was still a trainee. Her dad's native language is English, and I guess Lisa adapted it. She's probably just nervous, you can see she lacks confidence in speaking English. But I hope she overcomes that and become more confident in English.

S I love Rosé but I feel she was more butting in (for lack of a better word) than taking initiative to “speak for the group”! Watch carefully there were many instances where Jennie was ready to answer, but Rosé starts speaking not giving her a chance to get her point across! I’m sure there’s no bad blood between them as they’re all sisters and Jennie I’m sure appreciates the help since she herself can get stuck on certain words/expressions due to lack of practice (which is absolutely normal for someone whose first language isn’t English). However, I think Rosé enthusiasm here stems from the fact that in her case English IS her first language, one which she hardly gets to speak, so being in an English speaking environment makes her speak before thinking of giving others the chance to speak first! Again I love her, and understand her enthusiasm, but I can hardly label that behavior as having “leadership traits or tendencies” It’s simply pure excitement to be able to speak the language she knows best when she’s not always given an opportunity to do so!
I like how jennie was trying to make the two involved like when she keeps looking at them to say something and when she point out the concert in thailand where lisa was from. (That could've start a conversation with her) and the paranormal thing and she even point to jiso to say something about her paranormal experience.. she's really considerate.. cause its really awkward when you sit there and not saying anything. Its understandable that jennie and rosé were taking over the interview cause they're already good in english. But I just noticed how thoughtful she is with the other members😊.
