Jisoo can be a very good teacher. I once saw a translator that says how considerate Jisoo is. When Jisoo replies to questions on vapp from korean fans, she usually uses slangs but when she replies to questions that are obviously from international fans, she uses grammatically correct sentence so that the fans can translate it easily. The translator said that it feels like she is translating two different persons 😂😂😂

But jisoo is the one who leads the members best and being their shoulder to rely on. Like jisoo often hides her feelings when they win or something she always keeps her composure so that the girls can rely on her. Both potray leadership qualities that yg couldn't choose and just decided that bp doesn't have a leader.

I think she is way more fluent than we think actually she shouldn't worry about pronouncing everything perfectly but I've done language exchange and many people who know English in Asia don't speak it and since bp members know Korean she doesn't have to speak English she should only speak English for herself and to connect with us who love her I don't actually agree that 3 other people should speak for JiSoo I actually can't stand that in Kpop they use Japanese and Chinese once they learn it and connect with those fans and she knows English so if she's in the West she should use both English and Korean to get a comfortable balance

Jisoo= Teaches the girls Korean words that struggle them. The girls= Starting from basically scratch with Jisoo to teach her English. This is group is like "Mmmm yas!"

It’s really nice to see that they’re confident enough to speak even if they don’t know all of the synonyms or advanced words. I feel like it used to be more common to see foreign members that, even after training for so long or growing up with some of the language, just didn’t speak because they felt their conversational language wasn’t advanced enough. It’s nice that they help each other
Mike K I can’t tell if you’re joking or not but I’m going to help you anyway A synonym is a word or phrase that means essentially the same thing as another. Synonyms make the difference between speech that sounds simple or childlike and speech that sounds more advanced. It’s why Jisoo is able to say “it’s like...” to explain vocabulary when either of them ask “what does that word mean?”
I wish jisoo was their leader honestly😂 she likes teasing others, and sometimes acts like the maknae but at the same time she’s also so caring. She teaches the members many things and watches over the youngest.

I love how supportive they are all with each other, be it in languages (Jensoo helping Chaelisa with their Korean, or the girls helping Jisoo with her english, or even Lisa teaching them a few Thai words/phrases), or in other things, like praising how talented, beautiful, skilled, kind, the other members are and how proud they are of their achievements. I think that's the reason that made me stan them the most, they genuinely root and care for each other
Lisa instead of saying" No " AAny (informal) or AAnyo(formal) She does a combination between the two it comes out (AANEEYO) which is really adorable I love her~
Actually, 아니요 (aniyo) is a formal "no" so she is saying it correctly :) It's hard to tell because of her tone, but she could also be saying 아니에요 (anieyo) which is a common response to compliments as it's used in a way of saying "ah, no i'm not." She is very adorable though! Her voice is so cute!
My cousin and I tried the bathhouses when we visited korea and we thought everyone was looking over because we were foreigners or something but I realise now it’s probably...because we ordered a lot of food. 😅 Ahhhh so you’re not supposed to eat a lot there huh...ehehe...now I know?

Because many of you have asked, while Jennie did live abroad in New Zealand for 5 years, she isn't actually from there. She was born and raised in Korea (minus those 5 years abroad). Also, although Jisoo is not a fluent English speaker, she understands 100% of what they say in English (according to Chaeng) and she's been speaking it more comfortably these days. I keep seeing comments like, "isn't Jennie from abroad, why isn't she included?" or "Does Jisoo know English?" and this is to address those questions.
I think I can relate with Jisoo. I can understand english and if I chat in english, I seem fluent. But whenever I speak english foreigners don't understand me because of my poor pronunciation and intonation hahaha!
Tysm for this video. This explains A LOT to me. I was always wondering why they spoke so much English in “Blackpink House”. But I didn’t know that Rosé struggles with Korean from time to time (since I don’t notice it cause I don’t speak Korean). It now makes lots of sense to me, because Jennie or Lisa would probably want to help Rosé understand little things, as well as they’d probably be the only ones near her who’d be able to speak English.
Despite Liza is 100% foreign, Rose is more like a foreigner 😂😂 with just korean face. She doesn’t even know much about korean culture. I remember seeing Rose changing completely to very talkative when she arrived the United State 😂😂
Well she lived in Australia pretty much her whole life, and then when she went to YG they only had a year before BLACKPINK released their first single. She's still very much an Aussie girl at heart and becomes more chatty when she gets to speak in English.

Love how JENSOO patiently guide these two when it comes to Korean Language especially Jisoo who teaches them new words and deep Korean phrases, she's just as persistent as the maknae line in learning the language - she teaches them calmly and nicely, encouraging them to say it and never go shy because the Unnie line is there to help them. People are asking why Jennie is not included here, just like the video creator said, JENNIE was born and raised in KOREA sans the 5 years out when they're in New Zealand unlike Rosé who's born in NZ and raised in Australia, her korean parents, relatives and sibling in Australia are probably the only persons she had ever talked to in Korean language. Learning and getting exposed to the language by having the fluent speakers around you have different outcomes. Like Lisa said, Jisoo was behind her in getting inside YGE for months and those months, she was just learning probably on her own with a little to no help from the others until Jisoo came and started exposing Lisa to the language which made her fluent - idk if you have observed it but Lisa speaks more fluently than reading the language on paper or texts, that literally tells everything, which the idea of exposure and self learning has 2 different results. ChaeLisa speak English whenever it's just the two of them and can't properly express the word or feelings in Korean, they confirmed it on VLive CH+. Hats off to Lisa, like I'm serious. Going to a different country, learning the language and culture all at the same time is seriously so hard but she'd managed it well and that is with the help of her friends. Aren't we all going to appreciate how intelligent Jennie is? I mean she was able to adapt the language after only being exposed to it in 5 years? she got the accent and the grammar really well. Not all could do it though or i think being there at a very young age also helped a lot since kids could adjust well and learn easily than the old ones. Jisoo is everything a group needs, caring, patient, the gag, smart and observant so as Jennie, probably the main reason why YGE didn't pick any Leader. JENSOO fill in the gaps of which the other one lacks. BLACKPINK's friendship is just everything.

Bec when they're candid, their 'normal' traits appears, because those normal traits for them (like how Lisa and Rose look lost or panicked when they misunderstand OR how they look accomplished when they they did well OR how Jisoo even looks worried or proud when they express themselves confidently) make them unique and more real to us who don't know them personally.. and that's why these kinds of videos have more views.. it captures real moments.

Being bilingual is so hard so I get it. My Spanish is decent but there are words I dont understand or words I don't know how to express in Spanish so I say them in English. But if I go to my country of origin my Spanish will sound like a foreigner's ahh the struggles. I respect them so much especially jisoo for having so much patience

I used to think Jisoo was holding Blackpink back from being an international group, since she was the only one who only knows one language, Korean, whereas her other members know at least two or more. But I realize now that she's very vital to the group BECAUSE they are a Kpop group and they need a native Korean speaker to help them since they all aren't completely fluent in Korean even though they are a Kpop group.
