Join Shawn & Charlotte as we return to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the first time since March! Along with sharing a mix of on and off ride footage from across the park, we check out all of the social distancing measures that the park have put into place. This includes limited capacity and regular cleaning procedures on the rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Could it be an international Coaster Day is it just for the UK ? 15th of August being the hot season and the rest of the year being winter is a French expression (used from Paris to the Spanish border) mocking the Northern and Northeastern borders as well as Channel coastal region's weather. August 15th being a bank holiday, usually the paramount of exceptionally hot and sunny weather, half the country is stuck in criss-crossing holidaymakers' humongous traffic jams on North to South and South-West highways as well as secondary road networks (all Europe pass through France around that date). It's considered the European equivalent of Los Angeles' Thanksgiving legendary highway jam hell, with hellish temperatures, but on a country wide scale and encompassing a long weekend.

Anyone find it really annoying how it was really hot and sunny throughout lock down, and then when we're allowed out more, the weather has been horrible? Lol

@Digital Electronic Creative I live in Paris, and Northern and Channel coastal regions of France are pretty much the same (bad) weather as the South of UK. And using a folk's expression to lovingly make fun of UK's weather (which is more or less the same as in Hauts-de-France and coastal Normandie) is not inventing theories ! Having bad weather doesn't make you less... Paris has better weather but shitty compared to the Riviera or Barcelona and I don't make a fuss when someone tells me that in Paris there are 4 different seasons: late spring, summer, early fall and GREY. Gosh you're sensitive!

I've traveled enough in France and UK to know about the weather there. There's another folk's expression: bad weather but good, happy, warm and sunny hearts. You seem to be the exception to the rule. Thank you for a very interesting walk through of the Pleasure Beach, about 15 years ago was the last time I visited and brought back some fond memories. Must say I was impressed on how clean and smart the place looked and certainly in good order. The British summer has not changed at all, however interesting to see a few new rides whilst I'm chilling out on a South East Asian beach in the mid 30's.... good review well done, will make a point of looking at your other vlogs

I went here on Wednesday. I was finally big enough for all the rides. I went on the big one which isn’t that bad. Infusion and reveloution. Reveloution is kinda boring. Icon the best!

If only we all knew that Valhalla would still be closed at the end of the 2022 season. Hopefully it re-opens for the start of the 2023 season or atleast at somepoint during next season. I want to visit the park but im waiting for Valhalla to re-open first so i can ride that too as well as Icon and the Big One that i really want to ride.

If you come back to Orlando this year remember that most areas here are under a wear mask mandate. So please wear one. No fines or stuff like that just be alert at where you are. Also you can wear glasses with a mask just know they can slip a bit down your nose. And are you wearing contacts?

I've been wearing a KN95 mask and that has been the best mask to prevent my glasses from fogging up. It's definitely tighter on your face, but I'll happily deal with that for unobstructed vision.

Shawn, have you ridden the legendary Swamp Fox in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA? The coaster was named an Ace Roller Coaster Landmark and has been running since 1966. The coaster is famous for it’s airtime and bumpy ride. You should check it out here on RU-vid. While you are at it, check out the Hurricane at Pavilion Amusement Park. This coaster stood blocks away from the Swamp Fox. Sadly, the coaster and it’s host park are now only a memory. However, you can still see it in action in videos here on RU-vid.

I visited on the 28th with my partner and liltle girl.Social distancing was terrible ques was long and so many rides wasnt operating.Also a man at the doughnut stand was so rude to me it's really put me off going back.Icon was the highlight of the day grand national broke my neck like you said it's getting rougher and rougher to ride

Last time i was on fusion, The technique i used to make it less painful was actually to lean forward and brace against the OTSR. you still get a knock or 2, but it should be less painfull than it would be if your sitting propperly. Just thought i'd give you this tip bit of info should you decide to ride infusion or anyother SLC in the future. good to see you vloging again. keep it up.

Having been inspired by this channel during lockdown I went to BPB today, Icon was a bit of a shock to the system having not been on a roller coaster for 15 years. 😅 Over time do you get accustomed to the forces, I don’t remember coasters being that intense in the past! Even Nic Streak was getting me with it's airtime. Fun day though.

The removal of wristbands is a good step forward imo it will help throughput and cut out 1hr + waits to get into the park. I hope nash gets new trains or it goes as its horrible to ride now while streak is silky smooth

So it seems to me that you queue up with restrictions at the Beginning but when you get in there (like shops ) it's just back to normal a few new stickers and signs to social distance and were masks throughout your visit thanks for the upload I now know what to expect when I visit .

At 2958 when Charlotte comes off the Ghost Train you then take a walk to the river caves at another part of the park where there is sunken down water features on the floor isn't that a health and safety issue because you could easily fall into the water ,,,,there is no rails .
