Icon is an absolute favourite ride for a lot of people and one of the biggest Roller coaster in Blackpool

Big Dipper looks amazing, can’t wait to ride it when I’m there late September. I couldn’t agree more with your comment on a Wild Mouse successor. If they couldn’t build a newer woodie WM then what about a RMC single rail Wild Mouse? I’m sure RMC could design with ridiculous tight turns, single cars paying homage to the original. The new merch shop is certainly a significant step up affording a quality experience for guests. Great vlog TPW 👍🎢

Aww brill vlog, we went in that shop last year, really nice, remember when it was a cafe, my daughters fave ghost train csr is purple, she bought one at christmas, I have derby racer big one, big dipper, models and a massive canvas pic of big one in the kitchen, stageworks hoody, brick so you could say we are fans

big dipper was the first roller coaster i ever went in big fire the big one was there about 1981 great to see it painted up 😄

Glad you guys are making a vlog on Pleasure Beach again! I went there a few weeks ago and it was raining to. When I went on Icon, the rain was just going into my eyes so I couldn’t see anything and also Icon was operating for only 2 and a half hours that day which was from 11:00am to 1:30pm and the rain was stopping to after it closed! It was a disappointing day that day. I hope you guys enjoyed your experience nonetheless.

Riding a non-wheeled seat on Grand National makes such a massive difference. I don’t know if we were just unlucky with how spine smashing it was on the back of a car on our first ride, but we braved a second ride when I remembered your tip about non-wheeled seats. A totally different ride! Possibly my favourite in the park. Icon still probably edges it but Grand National is superb for me.

I Never Knew That They Do Late Night Rides but I like it

Hey TPWW I was the one who told you about that metal fence being put up that day :) did a bit of digging and apparently they put the fence up because the splash from the boat was knackering the sensors that trigger the gas

Loved to visit a theme park/ fun fair with you

Wish they'd reinstalled the chaser lights along the red handrails for the 100th birthday of big dipper. I remember them in the late sixties. As they began to fail in the seventies lack of maintenance meant we slowly saw their demise. It would of made the 100th anniversary complete for me😢

We visited yesterday and find your videos so helpful. Even though the Big One was closed all day due to high winds, there’s so much to love in this park. We rode infusion first, and couldn’t understand why you rank it so low. We enjoyed it. But having done all eight other coasters, my wife and I agreed, you’re right. Infusion is the least enjoyable of the coasters. But still worth 2 rides for us.

I remember when at Blackpool rollercoaster was call Pepsi big one

At 28 minutes I was there with my cousins when we walked on pepsi max. We went on back to back thats how sick it was 💯

Pleasure Beach I think is legit my favourite park in the UK. I understand the logical arguments for Thorpe and Towers, but there’s something about the heritage and uniqueness of Blackpool combined with the legitimately first rate modern rides like Icon. Went yesterday and just had the best day. The park is in great nick at the mo; clean and friendly with great ops. Infusion still rough AF tho 😅

From what I've heard that fence on Valhalla is making it more reliable, before the wave from a full boat would sometimes hit the safety sensor that disables the fire effect.

Omg I love bpb my favourite of all time!!!! Loving that the rides are getting TLC even if it's small things like new signs it really does make a difference

Fab video. I've not been at The Pleasure Beach since it was paid entry at the gate and that was years ago. There seems a lot of rides jam packed into a small space. It works though! I'd like to.go on all the rides.

Blackpool could really do with a dive coaster similar to Valkyria at Liseberg that has floorless trains & inversions unlike Oblivion

glad they got icon back on two trains, was only running one when i was there on friday and was almost an hour wait even when most other rides were on 10 mins or less

I Want To Blackpool Pleasure Beach To Ride Valhalla It Was A Soker I Was On Roll Two & I Got Absolutely Wet Through Even When I Had My Pccker Mag On But Well I've Enjoyed It Once Is Enough When I Come Back I'm Going To Go On Only One Water Ride That Is The Raver Caves OH I Went On The Ghost Train & Wallace & Gromit Ride There Was No On Ride Fliming Allowed But I Was Allowed To Flim On The Alice In Wonderland Ride The Was Something.

Valhalla rant here, unfortunately!😢 We’re queuing up, (me and my daughter, my daughter featuring hyper-mobility which means her legs can get tired extremely easily.) The ride stops for around 10 minutes, maybe 15? It starts again, the silly guy letting everyone takes every group from the fast track queue and no one from the normal queue!😡 (we had been standing here for 45 minutes.) then, 5 minutes later, it’s breaks down for another 20 minutes!?😬 my daughter is sitting on the ground, her legs starting to give up. Ride starts going again, fortunately, the bring another person to let us in, now 2 people. Still took ages to get inside, fast rack situation is ridiculous. 😕 this point, we go inside after 1 hour and 20 minutes, my daughters legs giving up.😔 after waiting another 20 minutes, we get to the front of the queue, it’s breaks down for another 15 minutes??😨 we FINALLY get on, going up the second lift hill, ITS STOPS AGAIN?😡 the lights turn on, poor little girl behind me and my daughter is very scared. Thankfully, it restarted after 5 minutes, and got absolutely SOAKED!😂

River Caves Is Quite Dark and Spooky and Scary 😢 But it is cool

The Ghost train is decent but I have been on the Ghost train at Folly Farm and that I used to be really scared on but I am currently getting used to it
