Blackpool Trams are Running Again! 

Blackpool trams are running again, and we caught a couple of them while we were out on the promenade the other day. It's great to see the trams running again in Blackpool, today we're at the tramway at Central Pier.
First of all the pink Blackpool tram passes one way - that's the Blackpool to Cleveleys tram, heading north. Depending on the service, they're usually the Cleveleys to Fleetwood tram too. Some turn at Bispham to come back to Blackpool. The Blackpool seafront tramway hugs the coast from Starr Gate next to St Annes, and the Blackpool tram tracks go all the way to Fleetwood.
Meanwhile, people are waiting at Central Pier stop to catch the new Blackpool trams to the Pleasure Beach. Not many minutes later, one of the new Bombardier trams heads towards us, collects its passengers, and sets off again in the sunshine.
When you visit Blackpool you've just got to have a ride on a tram! The old style Heritage Trams will be running again in August.
