Another good vid. Thats why i realy like this channel. You dont just do what most others do and show a perfect piece just finished. You show your sucesses and failures, your coulda woulda shoulda kindof thing. And it also shows progression in the work skills which is always great to see. Boring seeing peoples "oh look what i finished pefectly" vids, and the 20 mistakes beforehand without actualy learning anything from it.
Love that you explain the process and your methods that explain why you do what you do. Great quality and great products. Look forward to more content. Hoping to start forging this fall!
Ha firecreek forge, I'm a self tought beginner blacksmith. I have an idea for a knife for my best friend. Could you experiment with damascus San mai with a stainless steel cor? Your vids are so crisp and clear and you explain the steps in a way that actually make sense.
Nice work. I used to use a combo rounding face and diagonal peen hammer as my everyday choice. They look funny until you actually use one, and then "Ah ha!". Keep up the good work and good videos. 👍🏼
I went with the coal iron 16 ton myself, while I want a power hammer, the press moves more steel faster and is awesome for punching eyes as you showed. The diagonal pens cut hammering angles from 90 degree offsets to 45 degrees. Much more ergonomical.
OH WOW, really cool hammer, just like all of yours are! I was going to buy one of your hammers that just came out but my truck tags came due along with some school books.I'm going to try to sell a few knives and see if I can come up with the money. I'm taking Bible classes and that's taking every last dollar. And then there's the propane man 😳💵 😆
Will you be having a pre-order on these coming up at some point? ( if you've already answered this I apologize as I did not look at the previous comments🤷🏻♂️. Feeling lazy today I guess 😜)
