Blacksmithing - Forging a Stake Anvil

I wanted to try and forge a stake anvil that I could bring with me in case I go on a trip or something. It's also pretty neat to have an anvil with smaller horns for finer stuff.
Thanks for watching!

How is the new workshop doing any progress made? pure curiosity. Great content as always

Taking it slow but things are moving foward. I'm going to Canada soon for about 3 weeks, moving when I come home and then the workshop is my main focus. So a month and a half and it should be very very close to done!

@@MakeNCreate I hope you have a lot of fun in Canada. We will see when the new shop is ready. Just take it slow indeed.

Nice project...I have several bits just like you started with so I have yet another tool to make!😁. The only thing that I will do differently is to preheat the steel after tack welding and before putting down the heavy welding to enable deeper weld penetration. All the best! Dwayne

Honestly some tongs that are not flat tongs to be able to hold your work more securely like the ones you used in the end of the video or the rounded ones that you used from time to time would have been a much better choice than the flat tongs you used. ❤
