Today we're checking out the new St James Plugin from Blackstar - covering both the EL34 and 6L6 versions. It includes a compressor, 2 overdrives, chorus and phaser, a full Cab suite, post effects like delay and reverb, and a full EQ section.
It's available in VST3 and AAX for PC and Mac.

Got this last night and I am honestly shocked at how fantastic it sounds! I will be buying it after my 14 day trial expires! My favorite so far is the 6L6 on the clean channel with a tube screamer pushing it! I honestly am shocked at how touch responsive it is. I tried my Strat and Tele through it and couldn’t stop playing! Such a versatile and awesome sounding plugin!

Are there any effects or features you'd like to see in an amp sim that we've not seen yet?

not really anythin we havent seen before but a good amp sim with ability to be used as power amp sim with neural dsp's transpose ability or somethin like, and the full suite of effects chor/phase/flange/rev/delay/drive/pitch/ and such. Many people have good preamps already be it pedal or rack or even full size amps preamp out into plugin with ability to turn off the plugins preamp. (basically a plugin with most other plugins features all rolled into one)oh and maybe the abil to wet dry wet within it but this is prob asking too much
