Here´s a sound demo of the Blackstar Studio 10 6L6. It features a ECC 83 Preamp and one 6L6 Power Amp tube.
It also features a switchable Drive, an effects loop and one 12" Celestion seventy 80 Speaker.

Killer amp! I bought one about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. The cleans are remarkable but the overdrive is off the chain. I have a Charvel with active EMG's and it sings through the Blackstar. I add some delay with a bit of reverb and creates a mean overdrive tone. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone. Don't let the 10 watt amp discourage you, it's very loud.

Nice! How about home use? Is it too loud? Does it sound good with master volume at low levels?

I'm torn between this and the KT88. Admittedly, I like the aesthetics of the KT88 quite a bit more, but tonally, I'm hard pressed to choose one.

I sent this one back...clean is too sterile almost SS sounding and OD side was ok but slightly harsh to my ears. I kept the EL34 model and it is wonderful clean and overdriven, just better sounding in person than the 6l6 model to my ears.

It’s okay, not the best but this amp produces some really nice tones. A well rounded amp!

Crap clean tones, brittle attack.. All small transformer amps do that.

I heard your videos on line of your live performance ( Proud Mary, All along the watch Tower) your tone doesn't sound any different than what I'm hearing hear. As a matter of fact the clean tone you used on Proud Mary sounded lifeless . You could have used this amp. or tweaked yours especially because you're playing in a duo. This amp is perfect for you). Most sounds can be accomplished by tweaking pedals or an eq....I'm listening for the whole frequency response(Bottom End ,Mids and Highs) of the amp in this video and it sounds very balanced...
