He is the CEO of Blackstone not Blackrock. Two different entities. Blackstone is a private equity company Blackrock is a public company that was partially owned by Blackstone almost 25 years ago but no longer.

@@clarklowe5632 Blackstone also has a massive residential housing asset inventory. They make it seem less by averaging their possessions in all western markets, instead of looking at specific American markets where they strategically bought a controlling interest in a he market (neighborhood) and subsequently raised rents. “Prince ben’s” point stands. Also look at what else they are invested in! Blackrock’s entire purpose is moving money out of the hands of many and focusing extreme wealth in a few board members, corporate managers, and principal investors. That’s it. And they will do it in any market, venue, or by any means possible.

It’s $1 trillion in assets under management, of which a fraction is Blackstone’s market cap ($150 billion), and even less amounts to his net worth - he owns 19% of it which values his ownership at $28.5 billion. So no, he is not a trillionaire.
