Watch as I harvest my 2020 blacktail buck from my home state of Washington. Was lucky enough to harvest this great buck during Washington's Late Buck Season. ***GIVE AWAY AFTER VIDEO***
I met a retired Game warden last week, and we were talking about Black Tail deer. He said the biggest buck he had seen was a 6 point that a 16 year old girl shot while hunting with her mom. His partner went to go look at the buck, and called him over to see it. They decided to pack it out for them because it was too big for them. They even put it in their truck for them! Not all cops are bad I told him!
I HAVE MET MOST WARDENS DOWN IN SO CAL. THEY WERE COMPLETE ASS HOLES TO MOST OUTDOORSMEN BUT TREATED ME WITH A BIT MORE RESPECT BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ALL KNEW ME FROM WORKING ALMOST A DECADE AT THE GREATEST TACKLE SHOP IN SO CAL. ONCE THEY KNEW ME, I NEVER ONCE WAS ASKED FOR MY LIC OR TAGS BUT THEY ALWAYS CHECKED MY FRIENDS & ANYONE FISHING OR HUNTING NEAR ME, EVEN IF THEY WERE WITH ME, STANDING RIGHT BY MY SIDE. MOST WERE VERY SHADY & DISTRUSTING OF EVERYONE! A FEW OF THEM EVEN MADE ME HOLD THEIR BOAT WHILE THEY CHECKED MY FISHING LIC IN A RIP TIDE THAT SUCKED US OUT TO OPEN OCEAN & I WAS FISHING FROM AN INFLATABLE FLOAT TUBE INSIDE DANA PT HARBOR & THEY WOULD NOT LET ME BOARD & TAKE ME BACK IN & THEY LEFT ME TO FIGHT MY WAY BACK IN, AGAINST THE RIPPING CURRENT, IN SHARK INFESTED WATERS & THEN HARRASSED MY FRIEND SAYING I TOLD THEM THAT MY FRIEND CAUGHT A FISH! WE ONLY C&R & I TOLD THOSE DICKS THAT! FUCK THE CA DFG!!!
Thanks for the effort put into filming these hunts. I am turning 43 next year and looking to learn how to hunt. Definitely subscribing and learning more from y'all. Cheers!
I respect your hunting man, our family ways we are taught to pray for the meat and thank our creator for the meat we are able to harvest for our family and the matriarch of our family, that’s my grandmother now! Respect you more for that my guy! Nice buck! I’m from close to mt. Baker by Sedro woolley.. grew up in Yakima wa. Hunting the big boys growing up.
Nice Buck! I grew up in Portland and always hunted eastern Oregon. Dale Oregon, 71 miles S.E. of Pendleton. Mostly got a mullie every year. Remarried ,... and I've not got a deer yet, after 9 years. It's so thick bushed out here. 51 years old. But I am determined to bring home a Buck. Love the deer you got. Tony Flanary
Nice true coastal blacktail! Nice poke too. I know how it goes hunting these ghost here in the tillamook state forest. Takes time and patience. Great video.
Two thumbs up... my wife and I are planning this same kinda hunt this next year. This is the toughest way to hunt but probably the most rewarding. Thanks for sharing have a great day.

YES!!! A local boys hunting channel! Finally if I could I’d make my own but I freaking love it! Gonna benge all your videos! Good luck this year. I have a Nov 1-15 buck tag this year and my son has a regional elk tag. Gonna be a good year
This my first time watching your videos..... I enjoyed it & subscribed...... keep them coming.... BTW.... love the quote." its easier to stay in shape than get in shape"
New sub here. Just found your channel. This East Tennessee Hillbilly was stationed at Whidbey Island for 4 years. I loved hunting bear up near and on Mount Baker. Did a lot of backpacking. Never did get a blacktail tag, and have regretted it ever since. Avid Muley, whitetail, elk, and predator hunter. I need to check and see what WA wants for a nonresident tag nowadays. Heck of a drive from here, 2600 miles roughly. Congrats on a successful hunt.
I moved to Vancouver Wa. After the Divorce, and I just need to find a new place to hunt. It's cold now. The weather went from summer straight to winter. The super chill reminds me of how it felt in Eastern Oregon. That itch in my bones says,... Its Hunting season. Just bought a camera. Gonna give it a shot I just need to find intersecting trails to find a tree to hang it. Gonna have to DIVE DEEP I think.
I just subscribed I’d like to buy some of that swag to wear. I’m just west of Corvallis Oregon and I strictly hunt blacktail bucks. It’s a proud tradition in my family
Congrats, you are one of the winners of the blacktails out west apparel drawings. Thanks so much and congrats. Please if you can, can you reach out to us over Instagram or Facebook messenger so we cans get your size and contact info. Thanks again and congrats!!!
Around 25 years ago My cousin and I went hunting in a new area we had never been to. The area is called Vesta Creek. The first day there we drove up to a small landing, and the first things we seen were very fresh fur trees snapped off. The trees were around 15' tall, and 3 of them that were pretty close together were snapped off around 10' up! We didn't have any snow at that time, so it wasn't caused by snow load. There were no bullet holes, or claw marks either. After looking at them for around a minute I noticed 2 more around the same size on the other side of the landing. What ever did them were strong, and very tall. We both agreed they had be done by a Sasquatch. I told him if I see one Sasquatch footprint I'm done hunting, so I never looked! We went back the next day and they were changing color where they were snapped off, and that's how fresh they were. Now I wish I would of looked for tracks. I'm pretty sure I would of found some!
I'm glad that I found your channel. my Dad and I hunt similar terrain in Oregon. Late deer season here the only option is archery. Liked and subscribed!
@@wayoutwestadventures4488 I really dig the design, most big outdoor brands don't even know what a blacktail is! I don't have social media, do you guys have an online store or anything?
