@@RetroBreezeYT I'll put it into consideration. I wasn't at all thrilled with the Tab A9+ (not much of an improvement from my Tab A7 10.4), so I refunded it. This Mediatek chip is on the Lenovo P11 Gen2, hence why I landed here. Thanks again for this demo.
I need to stop watching your channel because I'm going to go broke :D Seriously, thank you for all the videos on the Miyoo Mini+. If it weren't for you making such great content, I would have never got back into emulation.
That seems like such a good value, that's crazy. I'm still going with my Tab S7 but it's good to know that these types of alternatives to Samsung exist. One question though. Does it support video out over usb-c? (Sorry if you mentioned it and I just missed that part)
No video out, unfortunately. If I recall correctly, the G99 actually doesn't support it. I do believe that BlackView do really well in terms of cost:value. Thanks for watching!
Hi there! Just gave it a try for you. Graphics set to HD/High frame rate. Ran absolutely perfect and really easy to control on this tablet! Also I won the match :D
Also to play switch games? For example I'm playing the new super Mario Bros U Deluxe and it runs at 60fps and also the super Mario 3dword and the super Mario RPG of course my cousin has 8gb ram@@RetroBreezeYT
You kinda failed to mention that the sub-$200 price is for the first 500 units sold on the 11th. And it's priced at $306.60 right now Evac though the pictures show it as $209. Unless the link you provided is going to the wrong listing.
That's fair, although to be honest the exact pricing wasn't available when I was working on the video fully. In my experience, sales come often on AliExpress and products often reach their launch prices again. However, I'll be more careful on pricing in the future! Cheers!
Abso-freaking-lutely agree! There are certainly tablets out there like that (Nubia Pad 3D and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra) but those are well over the $1000 price range.
Only interested in this tablet for one thing only, to use as the touch screen for Avid S1 & Avid Dock Surface Controllers for music production. Strongly thinking about purchasing one to see if it will work.
Hi there! 100% still recommended it. It's my daily-carry tablet along with the keyboard case and pen and I genuinely love it. This Friday they're launching the new MEGA-1 if you're looking for a higher refresh rate screen. Bit smaller though.
Firstly, I would like to thank you for the beautiful video you posted, showing all the possible details of this great tablet, my sincere congratulations on the video. I just have a small doubt, do you believe that this tablet can open Fortnite? I appreciate your attention and thank you.
Hello there! Thank you for your kind comment! I just gave a couple of fortnite matches a go and unfortunately I would say this tablet isn't really suitable for it. It runs at a low framerate even when the graphics are turned to low. If you reduce the resolution scale, it looks really bad on the big screen. I'm sorry to say it's not great!
@@RetroBreezeYT🤔I wonder how the game would run on full graphics of the game. I remember once playing a high graphics game on a older tablet. It ran and looked miserable. Then I decided to play around in the game settings and found the graphics were on medium. I decided to see what'd happen if I placed it all the way up the furthest it would go. And then the game ran with no issues! Sometimes, I guess. Running the game outside it:s full potential can break it on some capable devices.🙂
Since im new to all of these retro re consoling, am i to understand that this is solely the device, which has the capabilites to play all these games. They do not come prebloaded, is that correct?
the lack of a headphone jack is a deal breaker for me. I work with audio devices a lot and it's a hassle to carry an adapter all the time. the OUKITEL T5 is looking really good right now.
It doesn't play it ALL! Can't play Cyberpunk on it. Fake title. Fake video. Fake RU-vidr. But I'll still click thumbs up because you showed Ravensword Shadowlands. A month of my life is a blur because of that game.
Not really recommended because the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset that the tablet has is barely better than Qualcomm Snapdragon mid-range chipsets of current or two generations back. It can run something all the way to the Nintendo DS smoothly, any console more powerful is really pushing it.
I've bought this for my partner on the strength of this video. Thank you so much for this. I'd like to get it set up before they open it on Xmas day, can you point me towards somewhere I can find out how to set up the emulators on the tablet? I've never done anything like this before? Thanks in advance 😊
Hi, Did you notice that the tab 18 is just 60hz upon checking in the debugging mode? I'm wondering if you know where to locate the refresh rate settings for this tablet. Thank you!
@@RetroBreezeYT Last week i was reading about this tablet and i came across a review saying it was 120hz screen looks like he got the specs somewhere else. Thanks bro!
Great suggestion! I may do a follow-up with this in mind sometime! Lots of people have had suggestions of other things to try so I'm kind of keen to do it.
What's the price now? Can't see it available for my country on aliexpress. I actually can't see it on Amazon nor Aliexpress sold?? Strange. Do you have another link? Is it sold out everywhere?
I just bought one online about an hour ago, here in our country it cost me 15,000 Philippine Peso for the 12GB Ram, 256 GB storage space. Hope this helps
sorry if this is a stupid question but how do you connect the controller and other accessories (like the keyboard, mouse etc.). you didn't do a video of the device including all sides/corners (or maybe i missed it somehow) so it's hard to see what is all around. Thanks in advance
Oh yeah, I did forget a visual overview 😬 sometimes during content creation it's hard to see the bigger picture! Anyway Bluetooth for controllers, etc, or USB hub for cables and dongles!
but can you connect more than one usb c at once? i think there is only one. So how do you charge the device + connect an accessory at the same time? @@RetroBreezeYT
