i did hardwire the thinkware Q800 pro on my 22 civic hatchback last month, was thinking about the blackvue dash cam too, but i like the design of the thinkware more, its right perfectly right in the front of the rear view mirror, i dont see it there, but your dash cam video way better than mine though :))
Yes, my dash cam records any movement in front of my car and it will alert me when I get inside the car that it sensed an impact while in parking mode.
Acc is for accessory not auxiliary. This wire will be used when you turn the car to accessory just like your radio. Your camera won’t stay on when you have it hooked to the dome light in the case that you are saying. You are basically giving the camera full power with how it is wired.

Hello, I am interested to install a dashcam so your video is really useful :) Thx for doing it! Do you know how it is possible to have the red line around your Air vent knobs (just below the screen)? I find it very nice but in the European Hatchback Civic, it is not red colored by default...
