Hey I’m not the vid creator but I’ll help you out as best as I can. The rift S is not a good VR headset compared to todays standards. There is lots wrong with it, and if you choose to look up a comparison between the the Rift S and the Quest 2 you’ll see what I mean. From what I understand of this guys setup he is either using a VIVE, Valve Index, or a quest 2. But let’s assume he’s using a quest 2. If you buy games off of the meta store you are limited to the quest 2s hardware which is not that good. The hardware can’t even run 2 of the main maps in blade and sorcery because the hardware just can not handle it. Anyway, they never really advertise this for the quest 2 but it can easily connect to a pc. You can connect to a pc through multiple ways. 1 is a usb to usb c cable which you can attach to your oculus and to a port in your computer. 2 is that you can pay $30 for an app on your quest that will wirelessly connect you to your computer (apps name is virtual desktop). 3 is a feature built into the quest that can wirelessly connect you to your pc for free! The only problem is if your pc or Wi-Fi is not good that your games won’t run good (features name is airlink). When you connect to your pc you can now play PCVR games using the power of your pc. I recommend getting the games using steam. So now you are not limited to your quest hardware you can now play games at their full potential. You can also download bigger and better mods for your games. If you unfortunately don’t have a good computer then there’s not much you can do. I hope this essay of a comment helps you out.
