sketch you can hit the ball to where your camera is, so if you are looking left then the ball will prioritize left. you can also press click to block and right click to use ability, and to do close-ups really fast you can spam F and CLICK at the same time
I played this game before and id say, theres definitely some weird timing mechanics. It really feels for me as if the parry doesnt start instantly, cuz if i parry frame before ball htis, it still kills me, as if its either parry has a slight wind up before activsting or ball got weird hitboxes, literally ALL other games i ever played that had parry mechanic, taught me to parry as in the last moment possible, yet this game feels VERY differently... Its confusing.
That's because you techically cant parry while you are still pulling out the sword (unless they want to make it easier for players or dont care about logic), and we got used to it being instantly, so it feels weird, but that's how it should be
Pro tip always watch the ball’s direction, don’t stand still, and if the ball is coming near you without you flashing red someone is either invisible or using a power
Here are some tips i recommend using 1. you can just randomly point your avatar at someone and if you hot the ball pointing your avatar at them if will go to them. So you can like be in a battle then randomly point the ball to someone to kill them 2.i recommend press block 1 second early or if your in a battle 0.1 seconds early because when you press block it has it waits 1 second for the ball to come to the blade and it will hit
sketch if you dont know the block lasts for about a second of time, so if you press block a second before it actually hits you, you are fine, but if you press block when it looks like its gonna hit you, its not gonna work and you'll die
Pro tip: Just block the ball a little before cuz if u click, it doesn't istantly block, it makes ur character hold the sword to when the ball touches u, u block it. Pro tip 2: Whe u get really close to someone, just spam instead of trying to time the clicks.
Tips (for beginners) 1. Keep your eye on the ball because it can often turn red 2. Shift lock helps I'm not sure why but it's good for beginners under emote button 3. Don't always double jump when the ball is red 4. When you first get coins try to get a ability before you try to get a sword 5. Don't stand to close to people when the ball is after them it might go to you but if ur a pro you can maybe try 6. Try to put urself closer if ur in 1v1 7. Put urself in a 1v1 8. sketch heres a tip: the deflection has a delay so it deflects even when you do it like a second late so you should press F or click before the ball hits you and its like 3 studs away
The thing that sketch dosen't understand is you don't need to time it, you gotta press the deflect button late and before it even touches u -prowler goku
TIP: when u press block, it will block for 1.5 seconds and then do a cooldown. when you use the block when the ball is near you, you do not need to press it again as if you do, you will most likely be hit again because when you actually block the ball, the cooldown automatically ends and you can press it again immediately, and thats good for clashing. Just wanted to help someone
Hey sketch! i have a suggestion to do one of those fast paced combat battles, so when the ball is extremely fast and the person is rushing you (once they get close enough and the ball is fast enough) you can spam F and M1 a bunch and its effective!
Use shift lock it is useful also btw If you hit the ball the cool-down on block doesn’t happen also when you get closer to someone you can spam block to make it fast but be careful there are teleport ability’s they could use and you could die if the ball is fast and u have a red outline try to hit it as soon as possible
hey a tip is of u duble click than u loose ur next block bcuz when u block u the cooldown is full so if u duble click than your duble ability gets lost
Small tip if you should ever return to this game: Click early. it sounds stupid, but when you block you have a good 0.5 second window to hit the ball. i would know cuz with lag its litteraly impossable to time it. EXAMPLE: if the ball is flying for like 30 seconds its quite fast so at that point, you can pretty mutch click when your enemie hits the ball

Play with yout brother in a priv server to gain experience. Some rookie tips is that the block have 3 secs before your character can't block and if you block late you can hit the ball
The question: can you win while doing absolutely anything? Never hitting the ball ever? And the answer is: yes. Even in the standoff, if the ball spawns and goes to them, and they don’t hit it, they will die and you will win. So sketch, keep doing your best.
sketch you can block the ball very fast, you need to spam F and LMB when in a close fight. LMB can be used to block too and RMB can be used to use the ability too, btw AMAZING CONTENT keep this up man!
