This sounds soooo good... I'm in the middle of LPQ and looking forward to picking up this and AoA when I'm done! I am REALLY curious what he's gonna do for book 3, but I wager if it's anything like LPQ, it's going to all come together in the end and paint a really amazing picture. Also, SO interesting to write a trilogy where you could start with either book 1 or 2!

Abraham captures lightning in a bottle every time. Still have to finish Dagger and Coin, and then absolutely will be reading Kithamar! Also for your love of history books in a novel, I just finished City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff VanderMeer and part 2 is a whole speculative historiography. Blew me away, favourite book of the year so far.
