At first, I honestly thought this might be one of the bonus CDs in Vangelis's "Blade Runner Trilogy, 25th Anniversary". Then I realized that was about the highest compliment I could pay you for this mesmerizing album. You're tribute to the master is beautifully done.
They should have hired you to compose the score for Blade Runner 2049 instead. Hans Zimmer's score did not evoke the world building mood that Vangelis did for the original -- which you've successfully captured.

When I heard the Blade Runner soundtrack, my mind and heart expanded and filled with love for the music of Vangelis. Deeply grateful for creating your own style, based on the master, but with character. Listening to your music mate, I am transported to Los Angeles to have Sushi with Deckard, jump on rooftops with Batty and have long talks with Rachel. I follow you. Thank you forever.
The atmosphere that these songs produce is mysterious since they make you travel to the sad and melancholic era of bladerunner, it is a curious mixture of fear, beauty and mystery which envelops us almost instantly and I think I share with you the fierce admiration of this style. congratulations, friend....from santiago, chile south america

I saw that movie for the first time when I was a kid back in the 80´s, and I thought the future would be a terrible place to live in. I was right. thanks for the music though.

This ambience is quite interesting if you think about it. They chose Vangelis to do the soundtrack for Blade Runner. Vangelis comes from Greece which is well known for it's history, ancient times, gods and prophecies and Blade Runner represents the distant dystopian future, the darkening of planet earth but still the triumph of the human spirit. this mix of past and future makes a beautiful piece of art and kind of like a summary of the human existence
Unlike many other "BR vibe" music ambiance videos, this one actually sounds like Vangelis' late 70s/early 80s work. Especially the first movement. Great job.

Probably Rick Deckard together with Phillip Dick came to you and told you about the future. These were heartfelt conversations, which formed the basis of this beautiful music. I think Vangelis was also your guest and sometimes, when there were no worries, all three of them would drop in to see you. You watched Blade Runner and thoroughly shared your impressions of the film, about life and, of course, the future. Rachel was also a guest, but this happened so rarely that each of her appearances gave you new exceptional emotions for writing music. She was and is a muse, both for Deckard and for you :)
OG Bladerunner is my comfort ambiance. Back in the day, my partner recorded the complete audio, voices included, and converted it to CD for me. I feel asleep to this many nights. No matter how bad I felt, Bladerunner would at least reduce my anxiety. Thank you so much 🙏 I don't know how I missed this.

Congratulations! It takes a lot of love and perseverance to understand, think and create like the Master. It's not just emulating those CS80 brass... it's the sensitivity, the nuances, those strings and reverb... We are privileged that today we can have in one place exactly the same recreations of their hardware... even the incomparable Lexicon 440 reverb... So... try adding a subtle Fender Rhodes on its highest notes. I would love to hear these little bells floating over the landscape...
